On the fourth day of Christmas, the Yogscast gave to me

Deck The Halls With Boughs Of The Dream Team  - Tom Clark(Sparkles*), Alex Parvis(Parv), Martyn Littlewood(Inthelittlewood)

You hated to admit that what Kim had said the other day had implanted into your brain, but here you were trapped in the passenger seat of the Area 11 car, on your way up probably some of the bumpiest roads imaginable to a so-called amazing Christmas Tree farm. Music bleeding through the stereo and Martyn and Parv singing along dramatically in the back.

"How long to go?" you whined, sinking further into your seat as Hit Me Baby One More Time began it's opening beat for the fifth time.

Sparkles* smiled sheepishly, glancing at you from the corner of his eyes at your diminishing position before flickering his gaze back to the road, "not long now, just round one of these corners." You let out a huff of annoyance, watching as your breath formed into a cloud in front of your face despite the central heating that had been turned far too far up.

"Remind me again why I decided to enlist the help of you lot?" you mumbled, sighing as you felt Parv's grip on the back of your chair tighten and cause you to slide even further down it until you had one too many chins.

"Cause we're cute?" Parv tried, popping his head round the edge of the chair and grinning at you in the way the Joker would.

"Yeah sure Parvy, whatever you say," you muttered, but you couldn't feign back a smile of your own at his statement. The truth was, you weren't exactly the best person out there for something as simple as strapping a Christmas tree to the roof of your car, last year was proof of that considering that you had to cut down half the tree with the help of the far-too willing store owner just to get it to fit and the year before was part of the incident that you never spoke about. Though the small cut sitting below your left eye gave you a spine-shivering reminder every time you looked in the mirror as it sneered up at you. Honestly, despite them all being the biggest idiots that you knew, you trusted the boys in your times of desperation - and yes, attempting to put a tree on a car was a desperate time.

The car rattled around the corner of the closest turning, sweeping through the sludgy mud and causing it all to splash up and no doubt coat the left side of the car, and there it was, a million grand fur trees lined up in a magical looking wonderland for trees. Your eyes widened without meaning, and you pushed yourself up in your chair as you took it all in. Tom did have the right idea when it came to finding the perfect tree. After parking up the car, you all hoped up hurriedly, only to regret it the second the horrid winter chill came creeping in, leaving you stomping in your striped wellington boots and gloves just to regain the pleasuresome warmth that came with the heating in the car.

"Fourth day of winter and I'm already turning into a freaking snowman," you grumbled, stomping your feet hard against the mud-ridden ground, clutching your arms close to your chest with your pathetic fingerless gloves not at all helping.

Parv gave you a lop-sided look, stalking close towards you before throwing an arm up and around you before tugging you close to him, his chest was warm and inviting and you weren't going to deny that it took a lot of resisting not to curl up and snuggle in and stay like that for as long as you could try, "it's OK," his voice was soft, tickling your hairline as he spoke into it, "you'd be much less annoying then Olaf."

You giggled against his chest, before reluctantly shoving him off you, feeling the cold seep back in almost instantly. Sparkles and Martyn had already skulked ahead and were trekking deep into the mess of pine needles and chocolaty brown tree bark, a forest that was daring you to explore it. You let out a childish squeal causing Parv to laugh at you, before you grabbed tight of his gloved hand and began dragging him after you as you trudged in, the bristles from the trees reaching forwards and stroking you like hands. Just another reason to add to your list of why you loved Christmas.

Losing track of time was another.

You soon caught up with both Sparkles and Martyn who were laughing at something the other had said and all took part in your journey through the trees of finding the perfect one for your room. Kim was right about one thing though, all the good trees definitely did go on the first week, at yet, there was still so many.

The adventure through the trees included picking up needles from the ground and pretending you'd grown a moustache before attempting to string them up into Tom's beard to make it even more majestic then before - not an easy task you must admit - then you played the shortest game of hide and seek you could of with Martyn where he triumphantly found you from the glow of your red coat and showed his victory by showering you in pinecones, then of course you rambled on about your favourite Christmas' with Parv where he pretended to listen and nodded along like a pointless newsreader.

"Oh, and then there was the year that there was all those power cuts and every light in the house except the battery powered fairy lights that decorated the tree. You have no idea how proud my dad was that he brought them-" you cut yourself off midsentence, finally catching the full attention of Parv and the others as you froze yourself to the ground, staring up with wide eyes and an open mouth.

"Um, Py?" Sparkles* waved a hand in front of your face, "you still in there?"

"You think she's turned into a weeping angel?" Martyn giggled, "we'll just have to stare at her until she moves again."

"It's perfect," you mouthed, finally moving an arm up to point at probably the prettiest tree you'd seen. It's true that maybe it wasn't the most perfect there, it had a few branches bare of leaves towards the bottom where people had probably ripped them off and it's true that you had guessed the second you saw it that there was no way it would fit on the roof of the car or in your living room for that matter but it was perfect.

"It's massive," Parv said bluntly, standing beside you.

"It's still perfect," you insisted, not being able to take your eyes off it.

"I think I've figured out why she brought us," Martyn said suddenly, breaking the comforting silence that had been sitting around the group of you as you all locked your gaze onto the glorious tree ahead of you, "she just wants some manly men to lift the tree for her."

You scoffed, "seriously? If I wanted manly men I would of asked Smith and Ross to help." you remarked, rolling your eyes at them as they chuckled with laughter. Parv let out a gasp, throwing a hand against his chest and mocking being insulted.

"I can't believe you would say such a thing like that! You know how I feel when people question my manliness." he cried, twisting his body dramatically to face the other way and flicking his imaginary long hair behind his shoulder before stomping off.

"Please guys!" you begged, swiverlling round to face Sparkles* and Martyn who - by the looks on their faces - were still contemplating the so-called 'perfectness' of your chosen tree, "this tree is the one! We will never find such a perfect tree ever again! I beg you!"

The great ginger raised his eyebrow at you before giving a sigh of defeat, "alright. But only because you begged us. Come on Martyn. Let's go buy that tree."
