Chapter 3 "Mom"

You woke and felt something next to you holding you down. You looked to see Kunikuzushi hugging you close asleep he seemed to be peaceful as he was buried under the blanket with you. You smiled and pet him gently.

"Kunikuzushi." You called out to him gently. "It's time to get up" you said as you saw him open his eyes. "Good morning."

"Morning." He said sleepy as you got up. You had plans for today. Aside from finishing the outfit for him, you wanted to see if you could find the place you woke up from. If your memory serves you well it would be a bit of distance from here. Maybe you could find clues of what happened. "Where are you going?" You heard Kunikuzushi ask as he watched you ready to leave.

"Oh. I'm going to go find something." You said putting on your cloak as you felt it being tugged gently. You looked to see him holding onto a piece.

"I'm going with you then" he said firm. You laughed a bit amused and said ok.

You two walked down the path you remembered taking passing by people who were also traveling. Leaving the path you soon we're getting close to the area.

"It should be up-" you said but stopped your self. You felt Kunikuzushi stop next to you. You quickly pulled him behind a big tree whose trunk was big enough to cover you both.

Kunikuzushi, got the hint and stayed quiet as you two looked over the trunk to peek what's ahead.

"It's definitely the area" you saw a short male with dark green highlights. "My Lord Rex Lapis will be most pleased that I found it." He told himself and he looked around. You watched as you saw him go in and come out holding some things wrapped in cloth before turning and using his spear attack the entrance. Causing it to collapse on itself effectively sealing it. Then he turned and left in a blink of an eye.

"...was that were you woke up?" Kunikuzushi asked watching you go to the now sealed entrance.

"Yes. I woke up in there." You said touching the dirt as nothing happened. "I can only assumed I was buried." You looked at the direction the being left in.

"What did that guy steal from you?" Kunikuzushi asked angry on your behalf.

"....I don't know." You said. It was covered in cloth. "It be important if it was buried with me." You thought out loud. "But whatever the case is. It seems they wanted my things."

"Who?" He asked.

"Rex Lapis. The Archon of Geo." You said as you turned and walked back. "Come let's go back." You said as you turned and extended your hand out. Kunikuzushi went and grabbed it as he followed you back. He kept giving glances towards the direction the thief went.

"My lord" the anemo vision holder said while kneeling. "I've found the place." He said as his master turned to see him holding out the items.

Carefully picking up the bundle he unwrapped it to see three things. A hairpin that was gold with a red flower on it's end it's center red. A bracelet that was also gold with a green gem in the center and last a medium size golden ball.

"Yes.. These are hers.." The Archon said as he held the items in his hands gently afraid that he ever slightly was rough with them they would break. 'wheres the brooch..' he held them ".. did you find anything else?" He asked looking at the items.

"No my lord. It was empty. But I found footsteps going in and out." He replied. "I suspect someone must've found it and try to loot the place thinking it must of had treasure hidden. I found the items wrapped and tucked away into a hidden spot. "
