Chapter 13 Taken Away

Signora waited patiently for her chance. She sent out people to take you when the chance presented itself to them. Of course soon enough it did.

It was nighttime already. Aether and Paimon left to continue doing their quest. Khoi was peacefully sleeping in his bed at the hotel as you were looking out the window watching the oceanview that can be seen in the distance.

"Can't sleep treasure?" You heard Zhongli ask you as he hugged you from behind resting his head over yours.

"I'm worried. I can't find anything about my son.. and to hear this Fatui group around. What if they took him?" You said saddened as Zhongli tighten his hug confronting you.

"If they dare take our son then I'll make sure they pay for what they done." He said determined. "So don't worry my treasure. We will find him soon." He said assuring. "So come to bed"

"You go ahead I wish to stay up a bit more" you said.

"...I'll get the bed ready." Zhongli said as be gently kissed your forehead then left to do so.

Looking outside you gave out a sigh before turning. Then next thing you know was a cloth covered your mouth. A certain smell making everything dizzy til it faded to black.

When you awoke you saw nothing but darkness. You felt yourself be restricted. You felt your arms bound as well as your legs. Feeling a blindfold on you, you heard footsteps go to you.

"So this is the 'treasure' that old man has acquired." You heard a female voice say as you felt the blindfold be roughly snatched away from you. Quickly closing your eyes due to the sudden bright light in the room you felt a hand roughly grab your face and turned it to see a female.

"Hm. She doesn't look special to me. She looks pretty average at best." She said as she tilted your head around inspecting you. "Hmp old man finally lost it if he thinks your important enough to hold onto the Gnosis for." She said as she got up to leave. "Listen up. I'm Signora and if you don't want your precious son to be in danger you will do exactly what I say. Understand"

You glared at her angry. How dare she. "Don't you dare harm my son" you said as she looked pretty ticked off.

"I don't think you are in any position to talk to me like that" Signora said glaring at you. "The Archon of Geo favors you and you act all high and mighty. How annoying"

"So you plan to use me as blackmail for the Gnosis" you said quickly catching on.

"Hmp. At least you have common sense." She replied then spotted it. "I'll take this" she reached out and took off your bracelet. "Evidence so they know I have you"

"You have no idea what you just done" you said serious as she looked at you. You weren't stupid. You knew exactly what would happen once they find out who took you. Or better said once they find you. You looked at Signora making eye contact. "Do you have any idea? Of exactly what kind of anger you just released?"

Signora was frozen seeing you like this. Her grip on the bracelet tightened as she raised her hand and smacked you harshly across the face. "Don't you dare ever do that again! As if you can scare me! Don't you know your under my mercy!?" She said angry as she turned and started to walk out. Stopping at the doorway she glanced at you with a glare. "I just remembered one of my fellow Harbinger been crying he hasn't had a good subject. Perhaps I'll send you his way."

You kept looking down as your hands were into fists. You had to stay calm. Taking a deep breath you calmed yourself. You knew they would be coming for you. You just had to hang in there and do your very best to not use your powers or anything of the sort. So that meant to act as a helpless victim. For now.
