Chapter 6: One Missing Another Found

When you woke up you sat up yawning. You looked over to see Kunikuzushi missing. You checked and saw his bed empty as well. Getting up you noticed your charm was missing as well. You looked everywhere calling out for him but there was no response. He left. In the middle of the woods you feel to your knees feeling pain deep within your chest. You felt the tears starting to pour as you cried out his name one last time.

"He can't be gone.." you said to yourself as you got up. "I must've not looked far enough.. yes that's it" you reassured yourself and headed to the mountain. Entering dragonspine you called the seelie over. After a quick thanks you looked all over for your son. Finding nothing. Expect another person who seem to looking at the direction where the city is.

"Excuse me" you went over to it as it turned to see you. You paused it looked to be weak as if it been wondering on it own for a while. Still you asked. "Have you seen a boy around here? Around your height with purple hair and eyes?" You asked as he kept looking at you "he's my son and he-" you saw him just fall over as you went over to catch him. "Oh no. He's freezing." You said to the seelie as if on cue flew closer to you to help warm the new person. "I'll have to take him. I can't just leave him here." You said as you got up carrying him. "He's so light."

You settled him onto Kunikuzushi's bed and checked for wounds. He didn't have much except for the common ones you get when you need walking for a long time. You covered him with the blanket and sat next to him watching over. He looked weak as his breathing was shaky, you could only imagine what he's been through and at such a young age. Deciding to spare some of your powers to help stabilize him you put your hand on his chest and gently focused. After you finished his breathing became steady and gentle signaling he was still asleep.

"How curious. He's not human." You told yourself lowly. "He's like Kunikuzushi.." you said sadden as you looked out the window. "Where could he be.. it's getting so dark out."

"This is where you will be staying" Pierro told the puppet. "wait here. I have to go call the one who will help you" the man said as the boy went into the room. Hearing the door close Kunikuzushi looked at his surroundings.

'Place is small..' he thought as he walked around looking 'looks like a cell than a room' he touched his new bed. Making a face feeling it stiff. Taking a breath he sat on it and grabbed your charm looking at it. "I'm sorry mom... I'll come back once I'm strong enough." He told to it lowly as he held it close. He stayed put holding onto it for a while after a minute he head footsteps. Quickly he put the charm away and stood up. Seeing the door open he saw a new person.

"Thank you for waiting" Pierro said. "Here's the person who will help you."

"Hello. I've heard quite a bit about you" the new person spoke. "Call me Dottore" he smiled. "I'll be the one to help you unseal your power.

"Fine" Kunikuzushi replied.

You stood outside your home and kept a look out hoping to see your son run into view yelling he was back with a excuse explaining his sudden disappearance. Soon it was pitch black as you saw a blue lights float over to you surrounding you.

"Any sign of him?" You asked the seelies. They moved indicating a no. You looked down sadden "I see... Thank you for looking" you told them. The seelies gathered around you gently going against you as if offering their comfort. You pet them "I'll be ok. I know one day he will come home. And if he doesn't then I'll go look for him." You told them as they seemed to understand. "Then off you go. I'll see you all soon. For now I have to check on my guest." You said as they moved away scattering themselves and returning to their area.
