Chapter 36 Triggered

Dottore froze stunned at what you said. Taking advantage you pushed him off and ran towards the trio as they opened their arms and hugged you close.

"Little one! We finally found you!" The second one said.

"Oh thank the good heavens for letting us find you again." The third said.

The first one simply hugged you close and pat your head. "we all missed you" he said.

"Brothers.." Dottore said to himself. This was rather shocking to say the least. The pure fact you are here and live is one thing. You still being alive after using forbidden magic is another. But now, you having actual family members still alive as well? Now that is different on its own. Not to mention. Three and identical to boot. The luck of it was really one in a million. He watched thier expressions. The way they held you close to them. The way you clinged to them back. He watched you as you cried in their embrace.

"I thought you three died!" You said as your eldest brother quickly went to clean your tear.

"Sorry little one we didn't mean to leave you for so long" he said as the younger brothers nodded quickly agreeing.

"When we came back to find you gone we panicked and looked for you everywhere! Soon we caught word you had your own land" the second said. "We were all so happy to hear that! So we immediately set route to where you were said to live"

"....then the war broke out.." the third said as they went silent. "When we finally arrived. All we found were ruins.. we all tried to get to you quickly. But.." he said looking angry "those damn gods kept targeting us. Day in and out. We were forced to keep distance lest they follow us to you and harm you."

"The war.." you said sadden. "I've lost everything to it.. my people, the majority have been killed with few that managed to flee the lands I did my best to rule."

"We heard of your barrier." The eldest spoke. "So we hoped you lived somehow but we quickly found out you indeed fell in battle "

"We cried for so long!" The second said hugging you close "we hunted down all the gods that targeted you and killed them all!!"

"Well all but one!" The third spoke up. "The one who broke your barrier. Rex Lapis!" He said angry. "Stupid prehistoric lizard! We were so happy to hear he died a few weeks ago and now we hear he's still alive!!" You watched your brother whine "I hate him so much he broke your barrier!!"

Then the three froze. Your barrier. They looked at you. You got chills down your spine.

"How could you use that type of magic!" They yelled in unison. Yeah, there it is. The scolding.

"Don't get me wrong I'm happy to see you again but how could you use the forbidden magic!" The third yelled "it's called forbidden for a reason!" He said as he hugged you close crying. "Now you can't use your powers without the cost of your soul!"

"I don't wanna lose my sister again!" The second chimed in and joined the hug. "But don't little one! Big brothers are here so no need to ever fight! We will do it for you!" He said fighting the tears in his eyes. "So no magic! We will find a way to heal you!"

"Aw you guys" you said with a smile trapped in their hugs.

"Lets get going" the first said as the two agreed. "Take her I'll handle this Fatui here."

"Right!" Your second brother said and proceeded to pick you up. "Lets go!"

"Huh! Wait wait!" You yelled as they froze in spot. "Don't hurt him he can't attack us!" You quickly said.

"He is a Fatui" the third said "much more the mad scientist one too. He is definitely dangerous."

"Yes but he's my servant" you told them.
