Chapter 12 Regroup

Zhongli walked through the crowds to meet with a certain Fatui member. Arriving at the location he saw Childe waiting for him. Going into the restaurant they were seated and were served. They talked among themselves til a certain traveler arrived and sat at their table.

"Comrades this is Zhongli" Childe said as they looked him.

After having the two introduce themselves they started discussing about them proving thier innocence of being the supposed assassin of the Geo Archon.

"Then we best get going." Aether said getting up having the conversation finished.

"Leaving already Comrade?" Childe asked amused.

"We have things to do" Aether said "let's go Paimon.

"Right!" She said as she followed him out.

"That boy is something." Childe said as he smiled amused.

"If I were you I would weary of that child. He gives off a rather strange aura." Zhongli said as he sipped his drink.

"Same thing with you. You look to be very happy this day" Childe said "did something happen?"

"Indeed. You can say I have finally wedded my beloved whom I longed for the longest time." Zhongli said rather happy.

"You married??" Childe asked surprised as Zhongli nodded happy "then where's your ring??" Childe asked looking at the funeral consultant fingers. "How will others know your taken?"

"I am only loyal to my wife" Zhongli said firm. "They will be fools to believe I will fall for someone else."

"Ok.. then what about her? Does she have a ring at least?" Zhongli shaked his head "then how will others know she's married??"

"She's mine" Zhongli stood up eyes narrowed. "She's my wife they will stay away from her"

"Woah woah easy there" Childe said putting his hands up. "That's what the ring is for. It shows one status of availability."

"Then I must get her one at once!" Zhongli said as he grabbed Childe and dragged him out of the restaurant.

"Hey hey why am I coming with you?!" Childe asked.

"I will need your input in finding the best ring. My wife must have the best of the best." Zhongli said.

While the two males went into the marketplace you and Khoi we're walking around.

"I'm getting worried" you said. "I can't find any clue to my son or Aether and Paimon"

"He must be laying low seeing they were chased I assume they must of thought they were behind the whole assassination." Khoi said as he followed you.

"I hope they are safe." You said as you heard footsteps running fast towards you. Hearing your name called you turned your head and saw Aether running to you arms out as he tackled you into a hug with a gaint smile. "Aether??" You said happy as you hugged him back. "Paimon!" You said happy seeing the floating child smile at you happy.

"We finally found you two!" Paimon said. "We were looking all over you two all day. We were starting to think you left the Harbor."

"You can say we too had our fair share of events.." Khoi said as he was looking at Aether who stayed hugging you.

"Yeah it's been eventful " you said amused as you patted the travelers back. "Ok Aether you can let go now"

"Five more minutes" Aether said hugging you happy. During the time he was away he missed you greatly. He didn't know why but he seemed to be greatly drawn to you.
