Chapter 34 Double Trouble

"The light Khoi told us about went off" Paimon told her travel companion as she followed him around.

"Then he definitely no longer here in the city.." Aether said annoyed. "It seems we got stuck running errands again." He said as he went around helping for the festival.

Aether disliked the fact there was a pattern whenever he entered a new nation. It seems no matter what he was stuck running around doing things for others. Like now he was helping people with a celebration for the Archon. That's how the next of his days were spent. Doing everything but looking for you.

Paimon noticed. She played it cool and at times when it was just then told him to cheer up. That you will be found, that all their efforts now will hopefully benefit them in the long run.

"Hopefully?" Aether asked as he was sitting on a fallen log along a trail "what's so hopeful about it.. it's going to be the same. We do all of this stuff and in the end they will give nothing in return.." he told her as his fists tightened. "I don't want to keep going since I have decided to stop chasing my sister."

"Well yeah but" Paimon started unsure "maybe as thanks of doing all of this the dendro Archon will help you find y/n"

"They better" he said as Paimon froze seeing Aethers cold expression "I'm not going to be going around and do their work for them and be told they can't help again." He got up "if they do" he said angry "I'll make sure to make them pay" he turned and walked off as Paimon followed him.

You sat in silence acting as a prisoner again as an agent spoke to Dottore informing him of the occurring events back at Snezhnaya. Once they left you freed yourself and sat in a more comfortable position. It's been quite a while now since you been 'captive' during which you been thinking of what you could do given your situation. You knew they would come save you. You know they cherished you too much to not do anything. Glancing at Dottore you had a great opportunity with him being under control. You wondered what could you do to help your sons. You missed them both greatly and hopes they were both in good shape. Then it hit you. The blueprints!

Dottore watched you jump up and speed walk to where he kept his paperwork of ideas and saw you quickly sorted through them til you pulled out some.

"Found them!" You said happy as you turned to look at your servant. "Dottore.." you said.

".....Oh no" he took a step back. He had a bad feeling.

Arriving at Snezhnaya Zhongli walked onto the land with Childe following.

"This way" the Harbinger spoke as he walked ahead leading the Geo Archon. Zhongli followed looking to his side and noticed just how quiet the area was. Childe noticed him and stopped asking him "something wrong?"

"It's quiet" Zhongli said as he stopped. "It's far to quiet.."

"It's a land of snow. It's always -" he paused listening. He was right this was a different silence.

"Get behind me!" Zhongli yelled running forward and putting up his Barrier just in time to block the explodes thrown at them. "An ambush.." Zhongli said angered as the pupils of his eyes became slits. "They dare.."

"Send message to her Majesty!" A person called out. Judging from the uniform it must of been the groups leader "That the eleventh Harbinger has turned traitor!"

"Ah crap!" Childe yelled seeing a person start running off.

"I will not allow you" Zhongli said as the sky's quickly darkened and clouds covered everything. "I will have order!" He yelled as on cue a meteor fell in the middle of the enemies, effectively wiping them out. Childe watched in amazement as Zhongli kept walking forward. "The Tsaritsa is a bigger fool than I thought if she thought this would work."
