Chapter 27 Getting adjusted.

It's been a couple of weeks since the announcement. You and Khoi managed to settle in pretty well despite being watched constantly due to the gaurds Kunimitsu assigned to you two. 'Until Alexander completely finishes all of his training and is acceptable by my standards' he would say.

A pretty high one that always ment he was constantly being requested. Zinna followed you around and was your aid just as your son said. The other pair of scarred siblings decided to join Alexander and take up arms.
You learned thier names were Micheal and Sabrina. With Michael being the older brother and Sabrina being the younger sister.

Your Archon son on the other hand.. He still had to get used to his new position and all the responsibility that came with it. Especially now since he decided to declare war alongside Liyue he was more busy than ever before. The heads of commission that were helping him quickly learned to come to you whenever Kunimitsu started to act out. Something ticked him off triggering his explosive anger? They ran to drag you to the office. They learned to do this after witnessing the sudden change of behavior he would take after you walked in hearing the yelling during one the meeting.

"Get this out of my face!" Kunimitsu yelled angry at the plate of sweets that was placed before him. The people were tense and uncertain how to proceed when they heard a knock on the door. "Who the fuck is it!?" The Archon yelled as they saw the door open revealing you.

"Is everything ok?" You asked looking concerned for them. They saw thier new Archon jolt up and quickly make his way to you and engulf you in a tight hug as he took a deep breath. "What is wrong son? Is everything ok??" You asked as you pet him gently. They stood in shock seeing him look up at you with a big smile.

"I'm ok mom" he said happy. "Just don't like these meetings." He said as he pouted.

"Kunimitsu these meetings are important as it how you are aware of what is happening in your lands." They watched you lead him back to his seat and make him sit again. "You can't be losing your temper over everything you must keep a level head and assess what is reported to you." You told him as he was looking at you intently before nodding. "I'll bring you some of your favorite tea while you work ok?" You said as they noticed how he seemed to perk up.

"Ok" he said before looking down at the paperwork and continue the meeting more calmly and tactical.

So whenever your son was difficult you were called. Not that you minded. You loved seeing your boy work aside from his temper he was a good leader. His plans and proposals were quite good and his leadership skills really did shine through. In a way you could say he was a natural born leader. Just one that was very attached to the one he called mother. You did what you could to help him whenever he asked but seeing how things are different than when you ruled you noticed how outdated your view points were. Zhongli on the other hand was happy to give him pointers. All which your son ignored. After several meetings it been decided Zhongli would return to Liyue to move his troops in accordance to the plans they made.

At the moment you were watching the ship preparing to set sail as Zhongli come and hugged you close.

"I have to go away now love. I'll be back as soon as I can. You stay safe here ok?" Zhongli said tightened his hug. "I'm leaving Xiao here as well. You are free to give him orders as you wish. I assigned him to be Khois bodyguard for the time being."
