You waved bye to Aether and Paimon as they headed off on thier path. You still felt bad you didn't really helped him as much you hope to. But he helped you find your son. So you decided whenever he needed help you would repay the favor.
"I'm never losing this" Kunikuzushi said to himself as he put the newly blessed charm on his clothing.
"Lucky..." Khoi said watching his older brother.
"Are you jealous?" Kunikuzushi said glancing at Khoi. "I have a charm that mother herself blessed."
"Kunikuzushi be nice to Khoi" you said as Kunikuzushi hugged you happy. "Now then let's get going."
"If it was a Fatui member then I might have an idea where that girl went to. I remember there some small hideouts about here " Your son said grabbing your hand and walking off leading you. "There should be one in this direction."
You followed looking at your son. You still worried for him. "Kunikuzushi " you said as he hmed a response. "Are you not going to want to become a god afterall?" You asked as he stopped and looked at you. Then he smiled and nodded.
"Yes. I'll become an Archon somehow. I made a promise to myself when I left to the Fatui. I told myself I was going to be stronger and I was going to take care of you." He stopped walking and went to you raising his hand gently signaling he wanted you to bed down. You did so as he kept talking "just like how you took care of me" he said as he took his hat off and put it on you. "I'll find a way. I was created to carry a Gnosis so I know it's possible. And when I do become an Archon I promise I'll make you proud." He said with a smile as he hugged you happy. "Just you wait mother. I'll be the best Archon there is and no Fatui or anything else will be able to harm you"
You smiled and hugged him back. Yet you still worried. To become an Archon was no easy task. If memories served you right the only way to become one is to inherited it or.. take the place of an existing one. You heard a chuckle as you looked at Zhongli as he was very amused.
"This is the quite the son we have my dear." He said amused. "A noble reason he has but" Zhongli walked to Kunikuzushi as your son glared at him. "Being an Archon is no easy task. Much less becoming one." He explained. "You either have to inherited it or take the place of another."
"I'll take the Raiden Shogun place and become the electro Archon." Kunikuzushi said firm.
"If that's the case then why didn't you leave with Aether and Paimon? They were on their way to confront her just now." Zhongli asked. "Or is it your still not strong enough to take her on."
"It's simple, he's not" Khoi added. "You have the Gnosis with you right now don't you? Are you not able you become a Archon now?"
"You have the Gnosis?" Zhongli asked firm.
"Yes. They gave it to me in an exchange." Kunikuzushi said. "And I refuse to hand it over to the Tsaritsa." He said glaring at them as he kept hugging you close.
"You two. Knock it off" you said defensive.
"No. It's ok mother" Kunikuzushi said letting go of you. "If I want to take the place of Archon I have to go for it. I'll be right back." He said as he turned and started walking.
"Where are you going" you asked as he stopped and looked at you.
"I'm going to meet up with that traveler. I'm going to fight the Raiden Shogun and take my place." He said as he turned back and started walking.
"Kun-" Zhongli stopped you from following him. "Let me go!" You said as he kept you close in his grasp.
"Let him go my love. It is best to not interfere with this." He said watching him go.
