I came home from the hospital yesterday. I've been talking to Dr. Banks everyday, it makes me feel better. Since my aunt works so much, Cam stays over whenever she isn't home because I'm still worried about being home alone. He holds my hand and kisses me on the forehead or cheek but other than that he try's not to touch me.
It's Sunday. My Aunts been gone all week. Cam and were laying on my bed, watching Netflix.
"How many more days?" I asked him
"53, one less then yesterday, the last time you asked me. You need to stop worrying about him" Cam said
"I can't. Every time I shut my eyes...there he is."
"But you know that I won't let him hurt you again" He turned slightly and put my hair behind my ear.
"I know" I whispered
I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes. A tear slid slowly down my cheek. I felt Cam wipe it away and then stroke my hair.
"I love you" he whispered, as I drifted off to sleep. When I awoke I saw Cam asleep next to me. I sat up and looked at the teal clock on my nightstand. It was 2:36. I rubbed my eyes and stretched out my arms. I crawled out of bed, carefully so I didn't wake up Cameron. I went to the bathroom and washed my face. Then I walked to the kitchen to get some water. I brought it to my room, set it on my nightstand and layed next to Cameron. He stirred slightly, and then put his arms around my waist. He opened his eyes and kissed me. Not on the cheek, but on the lips and I kissed him back. He wasn't afraid anymore. Neither was I.

I was standing in the Kitchen, baking a cake for Cameron's Mom. Her birthdays tomorrow and since she's regained her memory completely, she's having a small party and I offered to bake the cake.
*Ding-dong* I wiped my hands and then ran to the door. I looked through the peephole. It was Cameron's mother.
I opened the door.
"Hello Nicolette" she said
"Hi, come on in" I shut the door behind her.
"mmmm, what is that delightful aroma?"
"I'm making a cake. For your party tomorrow"
"Oh yes, thank you for doing that. your an excellent chef and I couldn't bake to save my life" we both laughed.
We walked in to the kitchen. She sat on one of the bar stools and I stood on the other side of the island, across from her.
"How are you doing, Nicolette?"
"Better"
"That's good. Is your aunt home?"
I shook my head "she's working a case in New Hampshire"
"Oh, when will she be back?"
"Tomorrow afternoon, just in time for your party"
She smiled.
"Is she the one who taught you how to bake?"
"no. My mom did"
"Oh..." her voice trailed off "Will you tell your aunt to give a call when she gets in"
"Sure"
I led her out and then continued making the cake.*one week later*
"Cam, where are my keys?" I yelled from my bedroom
"In my hand" he called back
I came out of my room and took the keys from him.
"Thank you" I said kissing him
"Are you ready to go?"
I nodded.
We got in the car and drove to the court house. Nash still had 46 days left of house arrest but he asked the court if he could just double the time with community service and be relieved of house arrest. So Cameron and I have to go see a judge and voice our opinion. My opinion is that he shouldn't be let out of his house. Not now, nor ever.Cam and I sat next to each other, holding hands. Nash was across the room with a cop at his side.
Cam spoke first. He said that Nash is a danger and shouldn't be let go.
"Ms. Kiminski, your up"
I stood up and walked in front of the judge.
I talked quiet enough so that only she could hear me.
"Should he be granted freedom in exchange for his services?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"He hasn't given up on me yet...he won't. I used to see his face Every time I closed my eyes and I don't want to be worrying everyday that he might show up at my door again.."
"Alright"The judge said that Nash would continue his house arrest. He was really mad. When Cam and I were leaving the court room, Nash ran to me and pushed me on the floor, and then Cam pulled him off of me and punched him but the cop pulled Cam and Nash apart. Nash punched the cop. He got his sentence back up to 60 days for that. That means that he'll be off house arrest the day before school starts. But he'll be back in Spokane for school so I won't have to worry about him any more. Or so I thought.
