𐬼Matilda hadn't left her room since Eddie had left it. Her mom had used a hair clip after that to pry the lock open and enter Matilda's room with no evidence that a boy had been in there five minutes before. Matilda's mom stormed towards her and planted, for the second time, a slap across Matilda's cheek... flooding Matilda with anger afterwards.
Matilda swore that she'd never be like her mom. The only thing in common with her mom that Matilda had, was the color of her hair.
Matilda goes to great lengths and the first time she leaves her room is to go and grab a box of hair dye that looked to contain the color of her natural hair - a mousy blonde, exactly like her brother and dad.
One step to feeling like herself again, but one problem...
