When Todoroki goes back to his room, Bakugo runs a hand over his face.
He did it.
He and Todoroki are officially official.
So he calls his mom.
"Katsuki? Are you okay?"
He feels like crying he's so happy.
"Yes, Hag. I have something to tell you, though."
"Alright, your father is here with me. You want to be on speaker?" She asks.
"Yeah."
He hears her move her phone around and a small thud that almost makes him laugh because his parents suck at using technology.
"There you go, sweety. Now what's up you brat."
"I'm dating that guy now. For real. We're official."
His parents make surprised noises and then they're both congratulating him and asking him questions about him.
"It's Todoroki Shoto. The new kid."
And when they process it, they get even louder, happy for him and proud that he took the time he needed to be okay, telling him that he could always come to them when he needed and that they wanted to meet him immediately.
It has Bakugo feeling a lot.
Especially with the emotions from the day and also the talk with Aizawa.
Things are going good for him, but he still doesn't feel not depressed. It's just not going away.

"It doesn't work like that."
Bakugo glares at Chinen.
"Depression is a bitch and it doesn't go away just cause your life has a few wins. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's just how it goes. Even if your whole life is great and you're at the top of everything, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're not going to be depressed."
And then Bakugo takes a deep breath, trying not to cry or get angry or any type of emotional.
"So I'm just that fucking broken? I will never be truly happy and I'll stay feeling shitty my whole fucking life? I'm not living that way. I want to make Todoroki happy," he says, gesturing to the door as if Todoroki is out there when he's not, "how the fuck can I do that when I can't even make myself happy?"
"Okay, we're going to do a little activity," Chinen says, leaning back and pulling out her IPad, clicking a few things as she slowly explains what's going to happen, "I'm going to print out a sheet of questions. You're going to answer them truthfully. Got it?"
Bakugo rolls his eyes. "What's this fucking quiz?"
"They'll be questions on your relationship. I know you made it official with Todoroki already, and you did wait which I am very proud of, but if you feel like you need more time, you have every right to ask for it."
The printer finishes making its loud ass noise and Chinen hands the paper to Bakugo.
He grabs it with sore hands, and the pencil he grabs almost slips through his fingers. He ignores it, though.
It's only one page with no questions on the back and Bakugo looks up at his therapist.
There are only three questions.
