Aizawa notices things.

Noticed as soon as Midoriya and Uraraka started crushing on each other, when Mina started getting a cold, when Kirishima was feeling down.

Things like that.

It was no surprise when he noticed the change in Bakugo.

He'd been there when they rescued him after three months. He'd seen all the blood and cuts and scars that the boy had on him as he shook so hard from shock that Aizawa feared he might hurt himself.

The blond fought tooth and nail against the paramedics who were touching and grabbing him to keep him still.

When he was back in class two months later, the boy was stiff and almost doll-like.

His eyes were hollow and he was still underweight, even though he'd been trying like mad to gain weight over the last month.

Bakugo couldn't eat more than once a day when he got back and was in the hospital. It was too much for him and he always ended up throwing everything up when he tried eating a second time for two weeks.

They gave him food to make him gain weight because the amount he weighed when he was saved was far too little.

It had everyone wondering if he would die due to that alone.

Not only the cuts and bruises on him were bad. Sure, the marks all over his body had everyone on edge, but how small he'd gotten in just three months really added some panic.

Now, though, Aizawa noticed the change in mood now that the new kid was here.

Shoto Todoroki. Enji Todoroki's youngest. The boy had a scar on his left eye, and his hair was split down the middle. Half red, half white.

Seeing him fight showed Aizawa which side he preferred to use, and the hesitence had Aizawa knowing that the kid probably didn't use his left side often.

He could work with that. Especially since the kid was so powerful and knowledgeable already. It would make things easier for the both of them.

Bakugo was improving again.

He'd been excellent throughout first year until he was kidnapped.

When he returned, his attacks were shaky and weak. He hesitated constantly, and Katsuki Bakugo did not hesitate. Aizawa didn't even think he was capable of that.

Aizawa knows that Bakugo worked and worked to improve himself.

Saw that he'd sneak out early in the morning to train or run.

Saw the bags under his eyes of sleepless nights and nightmares.

How he broke out into a cold sweat when called on in class or when a specific teacher passed by him and he tensed up.

Saw when he passed out on one of his runs one morning when the class was supposed to have a day off of training. Aizawa had run out to go help him when he'd seen it happen on the cameras.

Bakugo ended up with scrapes all over his legs and face. Also one broken finger.

The teen had no reaction when he woke up. He just stared and stared, barely even speaking. That's when Aizawa had enough and called his parents and Nezu in for a meeting.

Right away, the Bakugo's had taken action and gotten their son all the help they could. Again.

They took him home for an extra week to spend time with him and help him out at home, but they knew that he would be worried about school so they eventually let him go back.
