The damn nerd treats him differently after that.

'Don't worry about that, Kacchan.'

'I'll make breakfast tomorrow, Kacchan.'

'You're not alone, Kacchan.'

It was getting fucking old. Annoying.

Stupid nerd has no idea that he's just making it worse. Giving him more anxiety and making him feel like something that needs fixing.

He knows he does, but it's just- he doesn't know. All he knows is that it makes him feel weak and he doesn't like that.

"You should sit down, Kacchan."

He slams his hands on the table.

"Listen you dumbass, stop fucking treating me like I'm some damn damsel in distress. I'm fucking dealing with my shit and you need to fuck off. I can make my own breakfast. I prefer to be alone in the morning while working. Not with you hovering around me. You're not helping."

"Well, I didn't know how else to go about it. It's not like you would've talked to me."

Bakugo glares.

"How would know? Did you ask? Did you ask me how the fuck you could help?"

The other teen looks shocked on the other side of the table.

"I'm not some freak, you asshole. I have depression and anxiety. I don't just freak out and pass out every day. Even if I did, it doesn't give you the right to belittle me and not even try talking," Bakugo rants angrily.

He looks down, staring at the bowl of apples.

Maybe he went a little too far.

He knows he's pretty much unapproachable, but the damn nerd didn't even communicate with him about it. Just started hovering and doing things that didn't help.

"I'm sorry, Kacchan," he says, frowning.

Bakugo looks up, eyeing the nerd.

"I just thought I could do something without having to ask you. I guess it would be better to talk. So can we?"

Bakugo looks at Deku, very much surprised that he didn't just burst into tears.

"Fucking fine," he says, pulling out the chair and sitting down aggressively.

Deku does the same but shaky instead of angrily.

"Okay," Deku starts, "before I start asking questions, would you like to start?"

He has been meaning to talk to him. He feels bad about everything since- well, since forever.

"Yeah. The All Might thing was my fault. I got him fired cause Aizawa saw how he treated me. Aizawa told him to fix it or else, and the old man didn't listen so he was fucking fired. I know you looked up to him and it was shitty of me to get him fired."

Deku looks back at him, blinking.

"Are you for real?"

Is he mad?

Bakugo can't really tell.

"I feel like shit for it. I'm sorry," he repeats.

Deku shakes his head, scoffing.

"Kacchan, that's not on you. All Might is just too big headed to apologize or even treat people like people. I've never blamed you and it's definitely not your fault. Was that it?"

What?

"What the shit do you mean, 'was that it'? I got your idol fired. You should be pissed."

Deku shakes his head. "No, Kacchan. You didn't get him fired. He got himself fired. Yes I'm a little bummed he's gone, but he's still giving me pointers. You didn't deserve to be treated the way you were."
