Things were kind of going smoothly for Bakugo.
It was... Weird.
Different.
Normal.
It felt good. The support from everyone was kind of refreshing. He honestly doesn't know what helped him so much. The sleep?
It has to be that.
The biggest change he noticed was after he started getting more sleep.
The eyebags have gotten smaller and his eating habits have gotten somewhat better.
He can eat twice s day now with small snacks thrown in in between.
It didn't happen quickly.
Not by a longshot.
It's been two months since his sleeping medications have started working. Not only that, but his anxiety has gotten less intense.
He can walk through the halls without worrying about what other people are thinking more than before.
Sure, three days out of the week are filled with the anxiety, but at least his depression has gotten better.
The therapy with his parents has gotten smoother now that his anxiety has decreased. Opening up to let them know his struggles is still hard. They're his parents after all and he doesn't want them to feel like they failed him, but he can let a few thoughts and emotions through.
It feels good knowing that his parents don't blame themselves.
They know that it wasn't on them that h3 turned out so anxiety induced and full of triggers.
He's kept up with therapy and the self care.
The relax days happen every week, and a routine was built back up.
Two months.
Two months of putting it all together and working hard for himself and know he's feeling like a regular teenager.
Sure, he's far from it.
He has the nightmares still, a word will push him into a flash back, and being around a crowd fills him with anxiety, but it's feeling less extreme.
Todoroki makes him feel normal despite all of the struggles he still has.
Bakugo wasn't to invalidate his growth?
Todoroki is right there to shut that down and throw comforting words at him.
It's sickening how supportive he is.
It really is.
~~~~~
A loud, booming voice gets Bakugo's attention.
It sounds so familiar.
There's a commotion all of a sudden, and he tenses.
His anxiety shoots through the roof and he feels frozen.
What's with all the noise?
"SHOTO."
Shoto?
Holy shit that's Endeavor.
Immediately, Bakugo snaps out of his fear, and runs outside.
He was in the kitchen preparing lunch for him and Todoroki for the week.
When Bakugo makes it outside, there's a circle of his classmates surrounding Endeavor and Todoroki.
Todoroki looks frozen, but his face is showing pure rage.
FanfictionBakugo scoffs loudly and scowls. "Are we gonna be fucking stuck together for that shit?" The man nods. "Yes." Bakugo's fists clench so hard, even Todoroki is afraid he's going to break them. "I thought we were friends," Todoroki says. "Fuck you,"...
