When Bakugo got to class, he felt proud of himself.

He had apologized correctly and he would start pushing himself even harder to get better.

He had written in his journal about what he'd eaten so far, and when he went to Recovery Girl to get that check-up, he showed her his journal and also got cleared to go to training today.

Changes were being made, and he was positive he would keep up with a healthy life.

It would just take some time.

He'd start taking therapy seriously, tell his parents to set up some more meetings.

Things like that.

Since he had time before homeroom, Bakugo started studying. He turned his phone to silent because if it.

So when Mr. Aizawa walked into the room, Bakugo was surprised that he was called.

"Bakugo, come outside with me. Bring your phone."

The blond did just that, pocketing his phone that was in his school bag.

Once the classroom doors closed, Bakugo looked at his teacher with a confused look on his face.

"Your parents called asking if you were in school. Is there a reason you wouldn't be?"

Bakugo frowns. "They just dropped me off today. Why would they ask that?"

The teacher shrugs. "They just called, and your mother, who had been the one to call, was crying about calling you. Why haven't you answered your phone?"

Bakugo looks at his phone, seeing all the missed calls and unopened messages that he'd received.

"I was studying. I didn't know they'd freak out," he admits.

The man nods at him, believing him before sighing.

"I told them you were here, but they insisted you miss classes for today, even if you went home or not. Would you like to see them? They're with Nezu."

He shakes his head. "I'm fine. I don't see why I have to miss class and training. Recovery Girl cleared me."

"If you want to go to class and training, then talk to them," Mr. Aizawa suggests, "maybe they'll allow you to stay in class today."

Bakugo sighs and rolls his eyes.

"Fine," he relents, and follows the teacher to Nezu's office.

In there, the new vice principal along with his parents and Nezu are in the room.

His mom is actually crying and his dad looks so stressed out, it makes Bakugo feel bad.

He thought his apologies would make them feel better. Do they want him to say it out loud?

If it brought them to stress and tears, Bakugo will swallow his pride to take any bad feelings away from his parents.

So he takes a deep breath, forgetting about the people in the room.

"I didn't think you guys would mind if I apologized on paper, but I am sorry. I will get better and chan-"

A body interrupts him. It's his mom hugging him and it's so tight, he almost can't breathe. He's obviously caught off guard, though, and his dad immediately hugs them both, too.

Bakugo is surprised, eyes wide open in shock and his eyes dart around the room, making sure that this is actually happening.

"It's not on you to do everything yourself, son. You shouldn't apologize for being traumatized. We should apologize."
