Todoroki finally got a date for his sparring urge.

And he also got to request soba.

Bakugo wasn't the best at making soba, so he was pretty annoyed, but he better think it's the best soba he's ever tasted.

Now he had to call his parents back.

The ringing sound made him even more anxious by the second. He didn't even know what he was going to say other than he was sorry.

Because he was truly sorry. He really hadn't meant to fall so far down.

Another thing he remembered at this very moment was to ask for more therapy sessions.

Sure, it was an embarrassing thing to ask for. Like, who lets their parents know that they're struggling so bad that they need more therapy sessions?

He cringes just thinking about it, but if he wants to get better faster, this is what he needs to do.

What's a little more embarrassment?

As it was, he could barely look Mr. Aizawa ever since yesterday with the whole meeting thing. He still watched that video before bed, but actually seeing Mr. Aizawa in person after he'd seen Bakugo so weak again didn't sit right with him and it left a deep pit of shame in his stomach.

When his dad finally picks up, he completely tenses up.

"Hello?"

"Katsuki? Your mother and I have been trying to reach you since yesterday. We're glad you called."

"Is mom listening?" He asks, almost completely disregarding what his dad said.

"Yes, you're on speaker. It's just us two."

"I'm really sorry guys. You said I shouldn't be sorry, but I've caused you so much trouble. Can I just ask for one thing?"

There's some shuffling on the other end, and then a sniffle from Mitsuki, Bakugo guesses.

"Katsuki, you can ask us for a billion things and we'll do everything in our power to get it," his mom promises.

It makes Bakugo's eyes burn.

He won't cry, though. He already did with Recovery Girl today.

Bakugo takes a deep breath because wow this is a really hard thing to ask your parents.

"If you could, could you set up some more therapy sessions?" Before his parents can say anything, he desperately rushes to add, "I promise this is the only thing."

It's quiet after and that has Bakugo's heart pounding, face heating up in embarrassment, and tears actually threaten to fall.

Could he manage to get better without more therapy sessions? Maybe he could manage.

Talk to someone here in school maybe.

But what if he couldn't?

"Baby, you listen closely or we'll actually take you out of school," his mom starts, and her voice wobbles so much, it has Bakugo's heart aching. He made his mom sad. "This isn't on you to do by yourself. We will schedule more sessions with your therapist and book some appointments, if it's okay with you, to get you some medicine again. What happened in the meeting wasn't normal and you haven't been doing okay, sweety. Do you want to come home again?"

And he does. He really does because his mom's smell made everything better.

His dad's hugs felt like they could put him back together.
