ANNE'S POV

Anne ran as her feet beared her, then she fell on the ground, exhausted.

She seats with her back pressed to a high tree, she's out of the swamp but she still doesn't know where. Fuck, it's all so confusing.

The blue light is over on her but she still feels her fingers trembling, her palms of the hands vibrating because of that energy.

-Shit. Oh, shit, shit, shit.- Anne repeats, her face in her hands, she just wants to disappear in pieces. Maybe become leaves and fly away from everything.

She doesn't remember well what happened, the robot, the explosion, the light.

Did she hurt Marcy? No, no, that was the robot.

Anne sighs, her head is hurting, she stands up leaning at the tree behind her because she's still weak.

The forest where she is now it's beautiful, huge mushrooms are shining of every colour around her but Anne can't see al that beauty.

She's scared. Scared of herself. What the heck happened to her? She has no answers.

Before she can decide to do something, anything, maybe plan a strategy to exit from the forest, her strangely alert senses hear a noise.

Behind her, she turns as fast as she can but she can't avoid the net. Anne sees a shadow before being trapped inside the net, she falls behind and rolls on the ground.

-Ow!- She curses, tries to move but she's trapped, her legs are tied with the net. Anne can only raise her head, see what there's around her.

The shadow she has seen before exits the repair of the trees, walks to her. It's a tiny figure, covered by a cloak.

-It's our engine.- The figure comments, sharp, another shadow follow the first. Anne wide opens her eyes but in an instant one of the shadows raises what seems to be a riffle.

-WHAT? WAIT!!- Anne screams, the figure shots with the riffle something that hurts Anne right on the shoulders. She doesn't have even the time to groan before she faints. The dark embraces her eyes.

...

When she wakes up, the first thing she notices is that her wrists and ankles are blocked. Something similar to tubes is holding her tight, she can't move.

Around her, there's a room full of buzzing machines, red lights. Anne tries to calm down her breath but it's hard to stay calm, as she moves trying to free herself the tubes hold her tighter, block her more.

-You woke up, indeed.- Anne raises her head, looks in the dark ahead her where the voice came from.

-Who are you? Why the fuck you tied me with those things?- She asks, angry, scared.

-Be quiet, my friend. I'm here to answer all your question.- The man who's talking comes closer to Anne, the girl presses her back against the throne where she's sitting. She's speechless. That's no a man, whatever the fuck is it what's in front of her.

It does look like a huge salamander, blue, it has a crown on its head. And it's tall, really tall.

-As I supposed, there aren't any amphibians like me in your world. You seem pretty astonished, my young friend.- Anne calms down her breath. It's just a nightmare, that's all. Now I'll wake up.

-No...There aren't any huge lizards from where I am from. You're gross.- She murmurs, trying to hide her fear. Where are the anime powers when she needs them? She tries to evocate the light blue.

As soon as she closes her eyes, focuses on the feeling of lightness the powers give her, the machines buzz harder around her.

-Ah, I see you're trying to use your Power. Interesting, you've already understood how to use it.- Anne frowns, lets go the idea of the powers. It's not working.

-How do you know about my powers?- The lizard smiles.

-Not powers, my friend. It's one, it's the Power. The Power of The Heart. And now it's yours.- Anne snorts, pretends to be sceptical.

-Yeah, yeah. The power of love.- The lizard frowns.

-I didn't say love, my friend, I've said...- Anne is tired of all this games, she wants to be freed and she wants to find again her friends, so she interrupts the salamander.

-I don't care! Free me, now! I have to return to my friends!- When she sees the lizard smiles but not help her, she tries again with her powers, without closing her eyes.

She gasps, the blue light is trapped inside the tubes and runs somewhere on the floor, inside the machines.

-What...?- The lizard laughs, and it's a sound similar to the noise of the rain against the mud.

-Darling, you can't use anything here. My machines are made to swallow up all your energy for my engines.- Anne didn't understand a shit.

-Engines?-

-You're a great battery my darling. A battery and soon also a host.- Anne freezes, shivers when she hears the word host.

-What...what do you want from me? It was you, you brought against us the robots?- The lizard smiles.

-It was, I see you start using your human brain. I'm King Adrias, human friend. And I have to bring my glory back.- Anne cannot breathe. That huge salamander is crazy!

-I don't care!- She yells again. -Free me!-

-I don't think so, my darling. You'll stay here, if you want I can explain you what I want from you.- Anne nods, nervous.

-Well, then, human. But I have to warn you, it's a ghost story. I need your Power to move my army. I need your Power to power up the great engine that will guide me to other world. I'm a conquering, a general, a king. I'll expand my reign everywhere in every world.

For ages I've searched a human able to carry without problem the Power. And yet I was betrayed by my closest friend. Once the power was one, The Heart, The Strength, The Wit.

My ex ally stole from me the Power and ripped it in three parts, hiding them in the more unknown and dangerous place in this world.

I was able to find The Heart and then you. And you're perfect for the Power. I'll find the other two and inject them to you.

Then and just then I'll be able to use the Calamity Box. Your Calamity Power will guide me and my army in every world.

You, my dear, you'll be my strongest weapon and resource.- Anne wants to say something but the words are stuck in her throat. She cannot think, she cannot talk. She's speechless.

Adrias doesn't wait for her to talk, she just turns and leaves her in the empty room, surrounded by buzzing machines.

-I WON'T LET YOU USE ME, YOU ASSHOLE!- Anne yells in the end, but her words are nothing in the empty room.

a/n woah sorry if this was only Andrias talking!! I wanted to explain the canon divergence in clear way :))
