ANNE'S POV
Far far away from Andrias' flying castle, in Wartwood, Anne have called all the frogs for a special reunion some hours before and they decided what to do. Kinda.
All the frogs are so impressed by Sasha's new Powers and they've found again their hope, even if half of Wartwood is gone.
Anne now walks close to Yunnan, who wanted to talk with her since she woke up.
-Yunnan!- Anne comes near her and the newt greets her waving a hand.
-Anne, sir.- Anne blushes when she's called like that, she raises her hands in defense.
-Woah, that's not necessary. Anne's enough. Now, what you wanted to talk about?- Yunnan nods.
-See...Anne, when Marcy and I arrived here, we were guided by... something.- Anne flinches, both for Marcy's name and that new information.
-I'm listening.- She says, serious.
-We were guided by a ghost, Anne. And I think we should talk with that ghost, before going and fighting Andrias.- Anne wide opens her eyes as Yunnan talks. She never expected to find a ghost. Amphibia was still a mystery for her. Yunnan nervously plays with her claws.
-There's only one thing... I've never seen the ghost. I think it shows itself only to humans. I didn't see it, Marcy told me they saw a dark, grey human who looked like pretty dead.- Anne nods again when Yunnan talks.
-Makes sense.- She reasons out loud. -So! You'll take me and Sasha to the ghost while the toad army goes to Newtopia.- Anne punches her palm with her other hand closed in a fist.
-And we'll see what that ghost can say to us!- Yunnan is affected by Anne's enthusiasm and unsheathes her claws.
-Hell yeah, human!!- She yells.
Anne returns back to the main room of the inn and makes signs to reach Sasha's attention. He sees her and puts down Alpha, who was sitting on her knees.
Anne looks at Sasha bending down on the little girl and whispering something in her ear, before going to Anne.
-Anne!- Sasha greets her with a fast hug. Anne implies at Yunnan and quickly explains the situation. Sasha smirks.
-Things are going to have some fun, right?- He says, cocky. All of sudden a strong hint of grief grabs Anne, she shivers and makes a step behind. For a second, she felt like choking.
-Anne, are you ok?- Sasha exclaims, worried, he gently holds Anne's shoulders and pulls her closer.
-All it's gonna be fine, Annie.- She murmurs in a low voice, presses her lips against Anne's temple. His warmth slowly makes Anne feels better. She closes her eyes to dry off the tears. Sasha's right, everything is gonna be fine.
Anne looks at Sasha with a smile and slowly caresses her cheek. Sasha places one hand above Anne's, they stay silent for a minute. It's like their heartbeat are coordinated.
-Now we have to go.- Anne says, peremptory, and Sasha nods. They go out and reach Yunnan.
-Let's go hunting a ghost!- Sasha jokes and together the three exit Wartoood. There's still some smog above the village, it's like the cloud are there to remember Anne what she did to that place. Anne bites her lower lip and tries to not think about it. She'll fix everything as soon as she'll save Marcy.
Yunnan walks some steps ahead them, guiding the two girls inside the swamp where Marcy saw the ghost the first time.
-Anne...- Sasha whispers something in her ear all of sudden, making her gasp.
