I needed to tell him. I couldnt just not tell him. Can I? No, I can't. thats not right. Not right at all.

A few days had passed, and now I was the one pacing back and forth in the lounge. This was all I could think about. Phil hates it when I drink, but he said that he didn't want to change me. But if I keep doing it, Phil will get very upset, even if he tries to hide it. But the question was, Did I love Phil enough to stop?

And if I did love him enough, would I even be able to stop?

Maybe I can't. Maybe Im not able to stop. Maybe I cant stop even if I wanted to.

Maybe Phil and I should go our separate ways before I hurt him anymore.

As I was admiring the piano at the music store, Phil crept up behind me and placed around my shoulders

  

"Ready for our lesson?" he said enthusiastically

"Always" I say, sitting down next to him

I had to tell him. I had to tell him right now.

Phil started playing a little bit of 'A River Flows in You' perfectly on the beautiful piano. He smiled at me, and I smiled back.

"Um...Phil" I say quietly, almost hoping he wouldn't hear me

He seemed so happy. I was about to ruin that happiness

"Theres, theres something I need to tell you" I said, grabbing his hands

"Well what is it?" He said with a little laugh

Fuck. I don't have the heart to do it

But I don't have the heart to not do it either

"That night at the club? Where you saw me kissing that girl? Well..."

"I wasn't drunk when it happened. I was completely sober and aware of what I was doing"
