!!POV CHANGE HALFWAY !!
Isaac POV*
"Alright, that was the first one made," Marc announced as she put a bottle of purple liquid on the table in front of him. We all looked at it amazed.
"With the ingredients, we got last time I was able to make the antidote," he said proudly, "or well, what I hope is the antidote." He added.
"And how will we be sure it works?" Lukas asked as he studied the bottle, "we won't," marc answered. "Not until we use it."
We all looked at him rather seriously, he stared down at the bottle. "Let's just make sure we won't have to try," I said, trying to lighten the mood, they all nodded.
"Then we should hurry up and finish the plan already." Marc sighed as he sat back down, Lukas and Aubrey agreed. "Then let's do that." Aubrey smiled.
They all sat back around the table and continued the plan, I sat back down on the front benches and watched them for a little bit.
I'm sure if I offered some help. They would have found something for me to do. But I didn't feel like doing anything. I had other things on my mind.
So when they were fully distracted I carefully stuck past them and left the church.

Lukas POV*
We all got really into it as we discussed our plans.
Well, I say plan but in reality, we hadn't come up with all that much.
W exist discussed ideas without putting them together, and a lot of that probably had something to do with them having the most dangerous weapon they could, poison.
But now that we had the antidote. Hopefully, we had a real chance of winning.
I'm not saying an arrow to the leg wouldn't hurt, it very much would. But as long as we made sure we didn't get shot in the heart or some other place dangerous, we would be fine. At least we won't die.
So with this new hope, we couldn't help but get excited.
So excited. I almost didn't notice Isaac sneaking out. I thought about stopping him to ask where he was going, but something about the way he was trying to leave without us noticing, made me think he wouldn't be honest.
So I decide to follow him instead.
"Hey, where are you going?" Aubrey asked when I tried to leave.
"I will be right back," I said as I kept walking.
I followed Isaac to the backdoor. I watched as he went out to the forest. I was confused for a second but quickly went out as well so I wouldn't lose sight of him.
I had to be careful so the sound of the door opening and closing wouldn't alert him. I wanted to know where he was going.
Luckily it didn't and I continued to follow him.
As I walked after him through the forest I couldn't help but wonder where we were going. Or why he was in the forest in the first place.
But I would soon have my answer.
We reached a clearing when he suddenly stopped, I quickly moved to hide behind a tree and watched what he would do.
It got quiet as he just stood there, he didn't look particularly happy, but I wasn't sure what emotion it was. He looked to almost be in a trance. He almost looked scared.
Maybe he was just here to clear his head, and I overreacted. It has happened before, things got too much and he had to step away.
I was about to go back when a nearby noise caught out attention.
I got ready to jump out in case it was one of the hunters, but luckily it wasn't. Out from a nearby bush came a rabbit.
I let out a sigh of relief as it wasn't anything dangerous. Isaac knelt next to it as it got closer to him. It was t scared of him at all. It even let him let it.
But things took a turn when he picked it up. Instead of it being wholesome, it soon turned gruesome fast when he brought it up to his face, and bit it.
Shocked, I took a step back, almost hitting a branch and alerting him of my presence. Even though he probably wouldn't have noticed anyways.
I started at him, not sure what to do. Why was he doing this? Is this really what he's been doing when he disappeared like this?
I didn't stay there for long. Part of me wanted to confront him right then and there, but I didn't know what he would do. He wasn't himself after all.
But the other part of me, the side that wanted to run, won. And before I knew it I was running back to the church.
When I get back to the others they had left Marc's workstation and had moved to 9ne of the front-row benches. They were deep in conversation, but it most likely wasn't about the plan anymore. If they even got anywhere.
They both turned to me confused as I stood there, catching my breath. "And where have you been all this time?" Aubrey asked. I didn't answer.
"Is everything okay?" Marc joined in when he realized the state I was in.
"Yeah- I'm fine-" I lied. I was anything but okay.
I was angry, and I felt betrayed more than anything. It hurt. I thought he trusted me. We made a deal we would t keep secrets from each other anymore.
He promised to tell me if he was struggling with this thirst of his, but now I find out he has been giving in to it behind my back.
I let out a sigh as my breathing calmed down a bit.
"Are you sure?" Marc repeated as he sat up.
I nodded, "I'm just really tired." I sighed.
"You were fine before, what happened? Where did you even go?" Aubrey pushed.
"I-"
"Also, where is Isaac? I didn't even realize he left." He continued.
"I don't know!" I shot back before she could interrupt me again.
It got quiet for a second. Both of them looked at me confused.
"Just, ask him yourself when he gets back." I turned away. "I'll be in my room."
I turned around and left them. I got the my room and dropped down onto the bed, bringing my hands up to cover my face.
I took a deep breath. I guess there's no way to avoid it now. I Sar up as I made up my mind. When he gets back I'll have to confront him about all of this.
