part 6 - Congrats

Lando's pov

Toto- Good. Contract is signed. Pictures are taken. Now we need to tell it Y/n. I mean she would new it if she didn't left but I'll go talk to her."

I take out my phone and my name is already all over the Internet and I have houndreds of messages congratulating me.

Even from George saying- Congrats Lad. Hope you and Y/n get on like years ago. I'm happy for you!"

Zak- I think she already knows."

Lando- You think?"

Toto- Oh yeah I hear her you two better leave now!"

I looked confused and Zak grabs my arm and we walk to our hospitality.

I went to my drivers room and texted some peoples back who congratulated me and I posted a picture of me and Toto that I got the seat.

It knocks really hard on the door.

Lando- It's open."

Y/n- It better is."

(Ou shit)

George- Y/n stop it."

Y/n- No."

She came running on me I didn't knew what I should do but it was already to late.

She grabed me by my shirt and Im honest I was scared for my life.

(Omg)

With every word she told she slaped me once. And goddamn she said a lot of words.

Y/n- Why. The. Fuck. Did. You. Do. That.
You. stupid. Bastard."

Now shes finally finished but this is the moment I really am feeling pain.
And I think so does she cause she's crying.

(Fuck I always make her cry. I'm so dumb)

George was standing next to her not doing anything.

She cried and cried all over me.

I think I messed up really bad now.
I had blood all over my face cause my nose and my lip was bleeding.

I did hurt.

It even hurt more to see her like this.

She hit my chest softly cause she didn't have any force left in her body or brain to hit me stronger.

I put my arm around her to comfort her.

I know she doesn't want me to because she wanted to push me away first but I hold her really tied and don't let her go until she stopped crying.

Took her 3 minutes to calm down. Nobody said a word in this three minutes because they felt like a hour.

This is not how I expected her to react.
I knew she would hate me but not that she beat in on me.

Y/n- Don't expect me to say sorry. I'm never sorry including something with you... And if anyone asked why I was here I was here to congratulate you!
So congrats Norris. You deserve it... Reminds me of that one day."

And then she left.

George- I'm sorry mate but you kinda earned it. Just tell them someone throw something at you and then you got scared and you bit on your lip. Should work. See you later Lad.

I waved at him and he closed the door.
I was sitting on my couch when he turned back araound.

George- And just between us. We all know you just do this because you-"

Carlos- Hey Muppet Con- Oh mate what happened to your face? Did you got hit??"

George- Whatever I'll leave see you later Lads."

Carlos- What is George or did I missed something?"

Lando: hmmm.... Wellllll yeah you missed alot. A bit to much that you would get this now I'll tell you another time I have to go to an interview."

Y/n's pov

Toto- Y/n there you are I was looking for you. I guess you already heard the news. I'm really sorry I know you two don't get on really well right know but please let me try to fix it. You would make such a good team to beat the whole grid and plus you would have your best friend back!"

Y/n- It's okay Toto. Me and Lando are on good terms... If he doesn't speak, look at me or text me."

But I get it and I know for sure if we did stayed friends we would be unbeatable.

Lewis- You really would be. I'm so sorry Y/n."

Lewis opens his arms and I hug him really tight.

(Luckily we ealready talked before.)

Zak was walking past our garage.

Toto- Zak come here real quick."

I'm always happy to see Zak he's nice and kind but and it still didn't change even if its a bit weird seeing him after this whole situation.

Zak- Yeah hey Toto what's up?"

Toto- Even I know Y/n didn't told me the truth I know they will get on oneday!"

Y/n- One day maybe yeah! No I'm kidding I even congratulated him. I don't know why I stormed of today I just was sad because Lew is leaving!"

Zak hugs me- I'm sorry Y/n. But I'm also pretty sure you two will rock next season."

I smiled and let go of him
(Yeah ofc we will mhm)

Zak- But does any of you know whats wrong with Lando he has a huge blue eye and I also think he was crying before but he didn't wanted to tell me and Daniel or doesn't know aswell I already asked them."

I acted like I know of nothing.

Toto- Oh wow and you din't even know how he got the blue eye?"

Zak- No that's the point. He still should be able to race because of it but I'm not sure if he is mental stable for it.

Toto and Zak crossed their arms and it was silent.

Y/n- We all know I don't have the best bond with him but should I go ask him maybe he tells me because he knows I don't really care about him?"

Zak- If you would do that I would be so thankfull.

He hugged me again and said- Also goodluck for tomorrow! Show them your talent."

Y/n- Thanks Zak. I tell you everything tomorrow."

I waved at them and left to find him.
