I turned my head towards the door as I looked at my self in the mirror.

shit they're here early. they're always here early. I began to think

thoughts began to race my mind as i ran downstairs past my dad to the front door. I placed my hand on the door knob and took a deep breath before putting a smile on my face and opening the girl.

"hey bitch!" cassie practically screamed.

"bro what the fuck took you so long where gonna be late bitch!" kennedy added to the conversation.

"guys shut the fuck up. god my dads home." I said in a hushed voice.

I turned around to see my dad leaning against the wall crossing his arms across his body, shaking his head in disappointment.

I ran over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "sorry dad. bye."

I practically ran out of the house, slamming the door on accident.

"girl your dad's so quiet. why." cassie asked.

something cassie doesn't have, is a filter. she will say whatever she's thinking, whenever and wherever.

"cassie god shut the hell up." kennedy said, winking to me as I smiled a 'thank you' to her.

we where all walking the same pace down the sidewalk, approaching kennedy's car.

"guys I'm so excited for tonight, I've never been to an actual party before." I said.

"of course you havnt. your no fun." cassie replied.

"bro being fun doesn't have shit to do with how much you party. everyones gotta first at some point, right?" kennedy said towards cassie.

whenever these two started a small argument, I was always invested. cassie is the mean, 'fuck you' friend in the group. kennedy is the 'be nice' and totally the 'mom' of the group. and me, well I'm more of the normal yet gay one.

kennedy ran around to the drivers seat as cassie ran to the passengers seat.

another thing about cassie is that she will refuse to sit in the back seat. she claims it makes her feel 6 again.

I sighed as I opened the car door and got in. my nerves where going crazy.

I'm a sucker for peer pressure, so when cassie asked i go to this party, I didn't really know what to say. after a couple seconds of me thinking to myself cassie 'took that as a yes'.

kennedy started the car as she said, "seatbelts everyone!"

see. she's the mom of the group. 100%.

I smiled to myself as I put my seat belt on. no matter who I'm with or what I'm doing, as long as kennedy is somewhere near me, i know I'm going to be safe. one of the perks about having a mom friend is that nothing bad could happen to you when your with that friend, like ever. at least in my experience.

cassie turned the radio up as loud as she could, the bass in the songs shaking the car as we drove to the party.
