"billie you're going down the wrong path." i said as i looked back at my map.

i heard billie walking back to me, then she said, "look we are right-" she stopped talking as she looked at my map then said, "oh, yeah your right."

i scoffed as i started walking down the right trail, "yeah, god only knows you're never wrong."

"what the hell is your problem?" billie asked as she stopped walking.

i kept walking as i said, "i don't have a problem genius."

as i reached the part of the trial where it splits, i turned around and billie wasn't there.

"are you fucking serious?" i said under my breath as i walked the opposite way i just came from.

as i back to the beginning of the trail, billie wasn't anywhere. i sighed as i walked back to the room. once i got to the room, i looked around and billie wasn't in the room either.

i sighed as i sat down on the bed and pulled my phone out and clicked on billie's contact.

it rung, no answer. i called again.

panic and anxiety set in as i called her 4 times with no answer.

me

billie answer

billie i'm sorry please answer

please answer i'm worried

all my texts and calls went through, but no answer to anything.

i walked back to the trail and began yelling for billie.

"billie please!" i screamed as i cuffed my hands over my mouth to make the sound of my screams louder.

i felt a hand on my shoulder, and i turned around to see the same woman from earlier.

"your girl missing too?" she asked as she looked into the woods.

"no she's not missing." i said as i yelled for her again.

"thats what i told myself." she said as she looked back at me.

"no she's not missing, we just got in an argument and-"

"listen denial is ok."

"she's not missing!" i screamed as tears began forming in my eyes at the thought.

"if she's not missing, why are you screaming her name in the woods?"

i didn't say anything, i just looked at the lady, to the woods, then back to the lady.

"did you call it in yet?" she asked as she broke me out of my stare.

"no, because she's not missing." i said as i turned around and went back to my room.
