head over heels

as i opened my eyes i could see the sunlight begin to pour in my room through the curtains. i rolled over and threw the blanket over my head to avoid the sunlight, but it didn't really help much. 

i rolled back over and put my head under the pillow as i closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep, but had no luck. 

i turned around and laid on my back and put my head on the pillow and stared at the ceiling above, waiting for it to collapse over me, then there was a knock on the front door. 

i knew my dad was up so i didn't bother getting up to answer it. then i heard footsteps approach my door as someone knocked on my door. 

great.

"i don't wanna talk dad." i said as i rolled over. 

"its billie." 

hearing her voice through the door made my eyes water a little. i got up and unlocked the door and opened it. 

as soon as i opened the door, billie wrapped her arms around me. 

i buried my head in her shoulder and she said, "i didn't sleep at all. i could only think of you and how big of a dick i was last night. baby i am so sorry." 

"it's not your fault it's mine." i said as i looked up to billie.

"no it's not." billie said as she lifted my chin. 

"i sugar coated it, and i kept it from you." 

"i didn't get mad because of you, i got mad because i'm scared baby." she said as she looked down to the ground. 

"you think you're scared? billie i'm terrified. i'm the one leaving." i said as i pointed to myself. 

"i know, i know." billie said as she grabbed my hand. 

"billie i don't want to leave you." i said as a tear fell down my cheek.

billie placed her hand on my cheek and wiped the tear away with her thumb and said, "you have to be strong, for me." 

i smiled as she connected her lips to mine. 

"lets go to sleep." i said as i pulled billie to my bed. 

she climbed into my bed next to me and wrapped her arm around my waist and said, "i love you so much." 

i kissed her forehead and said, "i love you to the moon and back."

"awe look who's arrived." finneas said with a smile as billie and i entered her house. 

i smiled as billie said, "ok guys, i have to ask you all a question." 

finneas, maggie, patrick, and claudia all turned their attention to billie so she could ask her question. 

"can we go to new york?" 

"why would you want to go to new york?" maggie asked. 

"so i can say goodbye to aubrey in person." 

"where are you going aubrey?" finneas asked.
