"hey love, i have a question."

"yes billie?" i asked as i put the mascara wand back in the tube.

"wanna go to a lodge with me for a couple of days? we will go hiking, swimming, all that fun shit." billie said as she walked over to me and kissed my cheek. 

i turned around in the chair and said, "billie i would love to, it sounds like so much fun." i excitedly said as i hopped out of the chair. 

"ok, get packed we will leave tomorrow morning." billie said as she wrapped her arms around me. i wrapped my arms around billie and rested my head on her shoulder.

"i love this." i said against her shirt.

"you love what?"

"you, and this and everything. i love your touch and i love spending time with you, and i love you." i said as i looked up at billie and connected my lips to hers. 

she put her hand on my cheek and deepened the kiss, "i love you so much baby, i love everything about you." billie said against my lips before kissing me again. 

i smiled as i hummed and said, "let me go tell my dad we're leaving tomorrow before i forget." i said as i turned around and left my room. 

i made my way down the hall to see my dad and mandy kissing on the couch. 

"what the hell dad?" i said as i threw my arms in the air, them jumping at the sound of my voice. 

"oh god aubrey." mandy said as she shot up off the couch. 

"ok listen i don't care about you fucking other people, but mandy? mom's best friend?" 

"aubrey i'm so sorry sweetie i should go." mandy said as she picked up her things. 

"no mandy, don't go yet." my dad said as he put his hand on mandy's arm to stop her from leaving. 

i looked at them both, my eyes darting between my dad and mandy, then i realized it. 

"oh my god."

"what now aubrey?" my dad asked as he threw his hands to his side. 

"how long have you guys been, seeing each other?" i asked, slowly, not wanting to hear the answer. 

"like a week or 2, why?" 

i put my head down as i turned around then said, "just wanted to let you know i'm leaving with billie tomorrow for a couple of days."

i walked back to my room and slammed the door, not seeing billie's fingers there. billie didn't even notice me coming in. 

she was crouched down low to the ground looking at a bug or something and she had her hand on the door frame to keep her balance. when i slammed the door, her fingers got caught and slammed. 

"oh fuck!" billie screamed as the door collided with her fingers.

"holy shit billie what the hell are you doing?" i asked as i fell to my knees and grabbed her hand.
