Aisha
Javier stopped halfway and turned back."Oh and your dress is quite exquisite by the way." Christian watched him with pursed lips as he walked away.
Is he serious right now? Seeing how this jealous one is acting over here and saying that...
I turned to Christian, bracing myself, as I waited for the accusations to rain on me.
"I'm going to ask a weird question ... is he gay?" He asked still holding me. His gaze looking in the direction of where Javier left.
That wasn't what I expected...
"Emm... no." I replied with a laugh. "No he's not. He's as straight as they come. Trust me."
"If you say so." His reply was rather sarcastic but I decided to ignore it.
We walked along and met an usher who directed us to our table. I noticed a table close to ours with the cards Sartorius and Donovan. I guess the CEOs where all seated on the high table. And from the look of things, Michael had not arrived yet.
Why did I even care if he had come or not?
"You ok?" Christian asked, his arm around my shoulders.
"Yeah. I'm fine, all good." I said with a smile, placing my hand on his. He kissed my forehead and looked down at me loving. This guys lashes and eyebrows were surreal. Long lashes that framed his beautiful dark eyes, his always perfectly carved full eyebrows. And don't even get me started on that dashing mischievous smile of his. You know those descriptions they give for the guys in novels with lashes forming shadows on their cheeks when they close their eyes and how they have all these beauteous qualities.... yeah he's exactly that.
"I love you." He said affectionately.
"I love you too." I replied, unable to hide my smile.
"I'm loving how much men are devouring you with their eyes when I got you all to myself." He said low, his tone smoky as he whispered into my ear.
"Do you now?" I teased.
He hummed in aggrement "Can't wait, to get this dress off you." He replied his hand gliding down my arm to rub his thumb on the bare part of my back and I giggled looking down.
I heard people gush and whisper about how cute of a couple we were. I would admit, I did feel a tard shy but Christian had always been one for PDA hardly caring for curious eyes around him. Ever so confident since I knew him.
Then from the corner of my eye, I watched Nate walk in and greet Javier, taking seat at the table with their name cards on it. I guess all the big bosses will all be seated at the high table. They talked for a while before Michael's father walked in with Mrs Donovan and Lyra who spotted me almost instantly and waved briefly.
Next came in Javier's father along with Michael, and my was he a sight for sore eyes. He strode in with his striking presence, captivating all he walked pass and even those standing afar. His tall, commanding figure, his chiseled jawline line adorned by his meticulously groomed beard which framed those perfect pink lips curved in his usual lopsided knowing smile.
His black brown hair was tide back in a slick bond which brought about the prominent figure of his face.
Cloaked in a bespoke suit of green smoke, the fabric drapes over his broad shoulders with effortless grace, accentuating the sculpted contours of his physique. Every stitch seems tailored to perfection, a testament to his impeccable taste and attention to detail. Its hue echoes the warmth in his eyes, inviting curiosity and fascination from those who dare meet his gaze.
