Chapter 41

Marissa POV:
So we got back to Paige's house and she made me explain everything. Clearly I didn't go into full detail because that would have been weird, even though Paige and I are so close. We ended up talking about random stuff. She told me about how Nash is taking her on a date tomorrow. Her and Nash are the cutest. I really hope things between them work out. She deserved someone who treats her right - someone like Nash.

....Next day....

Paige POV:

I woke up and Marissa was still sleeping so I decided to take a shower. I had to get ready because Nash was taking me to the doctors to get my cast off then I have to get ready for our big date. I'm so excited! No one has ever taken me to a fancy place before.

After I got out of the shower I just slipped on some leggings and one of Nash's sweatshirts. It smelt like him and was super comfy so I don't even care. I looked at my phone and saw a text.

From Nash☺️:

I'm outside whenever you're ready! Take your time 😊

To Nash😊:

I'll be out in a sec xoxo

I walked over to Marissa and shook her to wake up.

"Yo Mariss. Nash is here I am going to the doctors. You can stay till whenever just don't be scared when I'm not here."

"Okay bye mom."

She was still in a trance. So cute.

I walked out to see Nash standing by his car with his hands in his pockets. I walked up to him and gave him a quick peck on his cheek as he opened the door.

The car ride to the doctors was super short so we jammed out to maybe one song before arriving.

Marissa POV:

I woke up and felt nauseous so I walked over to the bathroom. Instantaneously I puked straight into the toilet. The huge tub of ice cream probably didn't agree with me last night. Whoops.

"Paige? I just threw up in your bathroom." I practically yelled.

"Paige it's nice to answer people!" Still no response. "Paige?" I walk downstairs and see a note on the fridge.

Dear daughter,
I am at the doctors with Nash. I woke you up to tell you and you said 'Okay bye mom' so I figured you didn't hear me. There is cereal in the pantry and milk in the fridge. Help yourself. Love you lots and go home. I don't need you stinking up my house.

Whoops again. I went over to the pantry and pulled out the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Paige didn't like cereal, but she keeps it in her house for me. Such a babe right? As I took the first bite I started getting nauseous again. I ran over to the bathroom and threw up once again. That damn ice cream! Well now thinking it could have been that shrimp cocktail I found in her fridge last night because I was having a weird craving for shrimp. I don't know how long that has been in there so it could have been that too. Whatever it was I decided I should probably be heading home. I haven't been home in a while considering I left on tour with the guys and then stayed at Paige's house. I never realized how close everyone actually lives to us. We are all about 10-15 minutes from each other it's great. Well I mean Gilinsky and Johnson just moved in the house across the street from Paige and I so that's pretty sweet. Then Cam and Nash got an apartment a couple blocks down. Matt practically lives with Cam and Nash so he is always around. Life is great.

As I'm walking back to my house I run into Gilinsky.

"Hey! Marissa what's good!"

Gilinsky and I have gotten pretty close lately. He acts like an older brother to me and I love it considering I didn't have one.

"Sup Gilinsky! Just walking home from Paige's. What's up with you."

"Nothing eventful. So anywho I heard about you and Mattykins." He said smirking and raising his eyebrows. I playfully pushed his arm.

"Stop!" I said laughing.

"Don't worry it's cute. The little baby isn't a baby anymore. I just think it's adorable how before we met you, you did absolutely nothing. And now look at you. All grown up!" He said pinching my cheeks.

"Haha. So I heard you're having a party tonight. I'm coming okay."

"Wait did I hear that right? Marissa Bracy wants to go to a Gilinsky and Johnson party? Has the world stopped spinning??"

"No last time I checked the world was still spinning! No worries there. And yes I want to go to a famous Gilinsky and Johnson party. I know Paige and Nash won't be there, but it'll be fun! I want to have fun."

"Okay sweet cheeks. Our place 8:00. Dress casual and bring a bathing suit."

"Will do buckaroo."

"See you then Bracy."

"Bye Gilinsky."

We parted ways. Did I really just agree to go to a party? And I was the one that asked to go. Woah. I guess something in me has changed.

a/n yay another chapter. things are gonna get crazy so stay tuned

so I realized that some things aren't as they were in the beginning of the story like the living situation and stuff but just go with it. I'll probably end up going back and fixing it all when the story is over but it's not going to be over for a while so... sorry if it's annoying it's just easier this way !
