Chapter 17

***Two weeks later***

Paige POV:

These past two weeks have been boring without the guys to be completely honest. I have practically been living at Marissa's house because my parents are never home do to work and stuff. Matt and Marissa have been texting non stop it's kinda annoying how much she talks about him honestly. But whatever it's cute and I'm happy for her. On the other hand Taylor has texted me a total of maybe 7 times within the time we have been away? Yeah. Maybe what we had was just a fling to him. I guess I'll have to move on.

"PAIGE OMG GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT!" Marissa came crawling into my window.

My house was just down the road from hers and she would always come over. I had a tree right outside my window which made it easier for her to come into my room through the window. Great. I know. Just kidding.

"What. It's 9:30 my God." I just woke up I didn't need this kind of excitement in the morning.

"The guys have a Magcon NJ so they are coming down here today! AHH this is so exciting! Matt said we can all go to the shore tomorrow because Magcon doesn't start until Saturday and Sunday but they are here for a week or two!"

Today was Wednesday. I am going to have to see Taylor again. I don't know I was kinda mad at him because he didn't text me. But I was going to have to move on also, right?

"Oh yay can't wait!" I guess Marissa could sense some sarcasm in my voice.

"Paige what's up? I though you would be happy you could see Taylor again?"

"Well, Taylor hasn't really been talking to me so I think he is done with me."

"Maybe he is just busy with stuff. But regardless, Taylor is bad news Paige I don't want you getting hurt."

"And how would you know he is bad news?"

"Really? You're asking me that questions? I know everything about these guys Hun. He played girls and I don't want you being one of them."

"Okay, I guess. We will see how it goes. Are you going to see Matt when they come in?" I said smiling at her.

"OH THATS A GREAT IDEA! We should go to the airport to welcome them. Be like a 'Welcome to New Jersey! We have cows and stuff!'"

I laughed. "Okay well when are they coming in?"

"Matt said he was getting on the plane from San Diego about 1 1/2 hours ago. So they should arrive at around 4 1/2 hours, maybe?"

"Well that is perfect time to take another nap!"

"PAIGE NO WAKE UP!" Marissa ran up to me and started jumping on my bed.

"Ugh fine I'll get up. We can start leaving here in about 3 hours. Because the airport is about an hour away and we can just wait in the airport and have like Dunkin Donuts or something."

"Works for me!"

~At the airport~

Marissa POV:

Paige and I were standing by the luggage claim waiting for the guys. We would probably hear massive screams coming when they arrived, but that's okay. I hope this isn't weird waiting for them here. I mean we became good friends through texting while they were gone and fixing the whole issue with Rachael. I still wonder what happened? Matt said he wouldn't tell me over text because he didn't want it to be 'out in the world.' He was weird like that but it's okay. A little traditional too which is cute.

I felt someone put their hands over my eyes. "Guess who!"

I turned around to see Jack G standing there. He held his arms out and engulfed me into a huge bear hug. I looked behind him and saw Nash and the other guys. I ran up to them and gave them all hugs. I look past them and see Matt looking at the floor and clicking his heel to the top of his toe. Damn was he adorable. I walked up to him and stood there. He looked up and smiled.

"Hello princess."

"Princess? You've never called me that? But I like it so keep calling me that!"

He laughed. He opened his arms gesturing for a hug so I accepted. Halfway through the hug I grabbed his beanie and ran away with it.

"Hey! Marissa get back here my hair looks ratchet!" I laughed as he chased me around the luggage claim. I looked back as I was running and didn't realize I ran straight into a garbage can.

"Woah there are you okay!?" Matt ran up to me and helped me out of it. I heard all the guys laughing and running up to help.

"Well this is embarrassing. But whatever. Who is down for some Taco Bell!"
