Chapter 9

Marissa POV:

So here we are in the closet staring at each other. Man were his eyes gorgeous. They weren't anything like Nash's eyes but I wasn't into Nash. I was into Matt. They were absolutely perfect. The light reflected off of his sun kissed hair neatly tucked into a beanie saying "LA." I could see a smile escape his lips.

"So," I say trying to break the silence.

"Marissa, as much as I want to kiss you I can tell you are nervous. I don't want to take advantage of you being that you never even had your first kiss yet. That I find to be complete bullshit because you're gorgeous."

"Well it is 100% true, unless you count my dog and this one time I kissed a dolphin but that was just a summer fling no need to worry about it!" He laughed genuinely.

"So what do you want to say happened in here?"

"Well you see, there is a problem. I'm not much of a lier." With those words he leaned toward me and his lips touched mine. I was shocked at first but then began to process what was happening. I realized I wasn't kissing back and he pulled away.

"I am so sorry I didn't mean to do that I'm not that kind of guy to kiss a girl he just met. I am so s-" I cut him off by locking his lips with mine.

This time I was kissing back. I could not believe this is happening. My first kiss is with the boy I have been dreaming about for months. We both pull away at the same time and laugh. His laugh is so cute.

My thoughts were interrupted by the door swinging open. "Crap!" Why were they mad what did they expect to see? Us having sex?

"Come on way to make it fun for us! We wanted to see some action!" Hayes says.

"Any action is kept a secret. You know me, I don't kiss and tell." Matt says winking at me.

I could feel my face begin to blush. I am still trying to process what just happened. I know it wasn't such a big thing and normal people wouldn't think it was that influential but to me it was. We walked back to the circle.

"Okay Paige! Truth or DARE!"
