Chapter 28

Nash POV: (Something different!!!!)

Marissa and Matt just left the room. She seemed really serious for once. I hope everything is okay.

"What do you think happened?" I asked Paige because I really didn't want to be watching the movie. I didn't want to seem like a wuss in front of her tho so I'm trying to act all tough.

"I honestly have no idea." She said looking at me. Her eyes looked straight into mine and I was speechless. I have spoken to her and looked at her before but she was just so beautiful. Her eyes were this shade of green that was indescribable. Everything about her was perfect. But she would never like a guy like me. A 10 would never settle for an easy 4 like me.

"Hey Nash, you okay? You zoned out there for a bit." Paige said moving closer towards me.

I could feel my stomach turning. She makes me so nervous.

"Yeah I-I'm totally cool no worries!" I said trying to play it off cool.

I decided to watch the movie now. Didn't want anymore mishaps to happen.

"This movie is sooo lame. Not even scary at all." Right as I said that something popped out on the screen and I jumped.

"Haha you scared there Nash?" Paige said laughing but still having a sense of comfort in her voice.

"Yeah totally okay!" I said nervously.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you." Paige said while grabbing my arm and putting it around her shoulders but never really letting go of my hand.

"Aren't I supposed to be the one to comfort you when you're scared."

"You can pay me back another time. Promise." She then laid her head on my shoulder. I couldn't really concentrate on the movie now. I honestly don't know what came over me but I leaned down and kissed her. Her lips tasted like strawberries. Probably from the Chapstick she was using earlier. I hadn't even realized that she hasn't pulled away yet. Our lips moved in sync and it felt perfect.

Paige POV:

Nash leaned down and kissed me. I have kissed plenty of people before but this one felt different. When I would kiss Taylor it felt hungry and wanting. But kissing Nash feels genuine and warm. I don't feel that sense of lust coming from him. It feels comforting and inviting. I bring my hands up to the nape of his neck and play with his hair. We both pull away at the same time and just look into each other's eyes. God was he perfect. Those piercing blue's looking at me and his smile reached his eyes.

"So how about that movie." I said and we both laughed. "I'll turn it off because I kinda don't want to watch it anymore to be honest."

I could see the relief in Nash's eyes as I turned the tv off.

"So do you want to go for some ice cream or something? The night is still young!" Nash said standing up and reaching his hand down to offer me help.

"Surely!"

With that we left the hotel room and drove down to the nearest fro-yo place.

a/n so I'm back from vacation. it was fricken amazing but not I'm depressed that it's over. i literally miss everyone so much and it hurts. so that may be the reason why this chapter isn't the best but I still updated for you! love you all and don't forget to comment!!
