Chapter 10

Paige POV:

"Okay Paige! Truth or DARE!"

I didn't want to be lame and pick truth so I went with dare.

"Dare"

"Hmm okay I dare you to go to five doors on the floor and act like you are selling Girl Scout Cookies. Oh! We need someone to go with you to make sure you fulfill this dare. How about... Nash!"

I look over to Nash and he gives Marissa a weird look. Is he nervous?

I get up and make my way to the door. As I open it, Nash grabs the door to hold it open for me. He was such a gentlemen.

As I'm walking toward the first door I begin to knock.

"Yes?" This older woman answers.

"Hello yes my name is Ashley and I am a Girl Scout. I was wondering if you were interested in buying some cookies such as thin mints, tag a longs, samo-"

"No thanks."

"Okay thank you for your time!"

She closes the door and Nash and I laugh.

"I can't believe she cut me off. Like who gave her the right!" I said still laughing.

"Yea who would want to cut someone off that," the his voice began to trail off I could barely catch the "is as beautiful as you."

What just happened?

I decided to just let it slide and move onto the next door.

"Hello my name is Olivia and I would just like to ask if you were intere-"

I was interrupted by the door in my face.

"Well people are just plain rude today!"

As we walked up to the third door I turn back to see if Nash was following. He seemed to be still at the last door.

"Hey Nash, you coming?"

"Oh! Yeah sorry I got lost in thought."

I knock on the third door and it swings open.

"Hello ma'am. My name is Delphine and I am a Girl Scout. I was wondering if you were interested in buying any cookies today!" I said maybe way too cheery.

"Oh sure sweeties."

"Okay we have Thin Mints, Samoas, Peanut Butter Patties, and our newest box of cookies called this is a joke!"

"Oh you two little kids up to your shenanigans! Now run along and don't get into too much trouble!"

"We won't!" Nash and I said in unison.

We begin to walk away and the lady grabs my arm and whispers in my ear.

"You keep an eye out for that one there. He is a keeper." She says smiling at me.

"Oh I think you have the wrong idea. We aren't anything."

"Now run along!" She says again with a smile.

We went to the last two doors and all of them closed the door on me. People were so inconsiderate. I mean I wasn't really selling them cookies but whatever.

As we were waking back to the room Nash asked,

"What did that one old lady say to you?"

"Oh. Nothing. She was just telling me about how she used to be a Girl Scout when she was younger."

I could tell Nash didn't believe me but he didn't look like he was going to argue.

We walk back into the room and everyone is just laughing in the circle. Marissa is sitting next to Matt. They look so cute.

"Hey you guys are back! How did it go!" Marissa asked.

"Great! One lady was so gullible she actually wanted to buy cookies!" Nash says.

Everyone continued laughing. The game went on for another hour or so then I looked at the clock.

"Oh shit Marissa we have to go back to the room. My dad wanted us to face time him at 10 before we went to bed."

It was now 11.

"Ugh okay." Marissa said rolling her eyes.

"Wait hold up!" Jack J said running up to us with his phone out.

"Give us your number and I'll give it to the rest of the guys. You're leaving in a week right? So we need to hang out again!"

"Like tomorrow!" Matt added.

"Okay! Sounds like a plan!" Marissa said giving Jack both our numbers.

"See you tomorrow!"
