Chapter 3

Marissa POV:

Paige is on stage dancing right now. She is so good. I have always been jealous of her but never to the point where I would be mad at her.

"Woah. She is really good."

I hear a familiar voice coming from behind me.

Without turning around I respond, "Yeah she is the best in our company!"

"You dance with her?" the voice is getting closer.

This time I turn to see who it is. Shawn. I think I'm going to faint. No Marissa. Stay calm. You don't want to come off as another crazed fan.

"Yeah, I am about to go on next so I can't talk for long, but I cannot wait for your performance! You are really good!"

"Oh thanks! The music is ending so I guess this is your cue to leave. Break a leg!"

"Thank you!" I say with a smile as I run out on stage.

Paige POV:

I just finished my solo and Marissa ran on stage. As I was watching her I heard someone come up behind me and say, "You did a great job out there! I think you should make this a career! You would be great at it!"

I turn around and see Shawn. Wow. He is ten times more adorable in person.

"Thank you! I want to become a professional dancer some day." I say with a smile. "You're Shawn right? I'm Paige. My friend Marissa talks about you guys a lot."

He started laughing.

"Yeah haha I was talking to her earlier while you were on stage."

"Oh wow was she okay? I'm surprised she didn't faint."

"So I'll take it she is a fan?"

"Maybe just a little." He smiled.

"So me and the guys are going out for pizza after this. Do you two want to join? I am pretty sure the boys would love to meet you!"

"I would love to and I'm pretty sure Marissa is up for it but the only issue is my dad. He is sorta over protective about everything." With that Marissa bowed and ran off.

"Hey guys! So Shawn I see you have met Paige!" She was always so excited.

"Yeah! I asked if you guys wanted to come out to pizza with us after this."

"Umm I'll have to think about th- YES! But Paige can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Yeah I probably should go warm up before I go on! Don't forget to meet me after! Text me if you guys are in."

With that he gave us his number.

Marissa took me back to the dressing room.

"Paige. What about your dad? Won't he have a fit if he finds out we went out?"

"Live on the edge Marissa! Be open for experiences! I don't care to be honest. What he doesn't know won't hurt him."

"Okay okay. But if we get in trouble it's up to you to get out of this one."

"Yay!!"

"Hmm so I see you are taking an interest in these boys." She says with a smirk.

"Nahh I just think they are sorta attractive maybe."

"HA I was right! I told you! You should have listened when I would talk about them then maybe you would have been into them way before this time!"

"This is reason number one why I zone you out." I try to say seriously but end up laughing.

"You love me!"

"I'm going to go watch Shawn now."

"Wait wait I'm coming too!"
