Marissa POV:
I wake up with Paige hitting me in the face with a pillow. Paige was my best friend for 6 years now. Even through she was a year and a half older than me, I couldn't connect to anyone better than her.
"Wake up you sleepy ass we have 4 hours to get ready!"
Today our studio was performing in a benefit show to help raise money for the Wishes for Children Organization. A whole bunch of people were performing at this benefit including the Shawn Mendes. Shawn Mendes was one of the 11 boys of Magcon. This day was going to be extremely life changing, that is if he even notices me. I tried to talk to Paige about Magcon but she never seemed interested. She has a vine, but she rarely goes on it.
"Hey Marissa, can you grab my tights from the second drawer please!"
"Sure thing."
She got into the shower first because she takes 10x longer. I went onto twitter to look at my timeline.
"@ShawnMendes: Can't wait for the benefit today! Come out to support the Wishes for Children Organization!"
He was so cute, but Matt Espinosa was my favorite. I hope the rest of the boys come to the benefit but it is highly unlikely. I guess we can just hope for the best.

Paige POV:
So today was the day we get to perform our piece in the benefit. I usually wasn't nervous for stuff like this, but it felt different. This was the first time I am doing a solo in front of this many people. For years Marissa and I would always perform a duo, but this year we were both picked to do a solo. I guess it's good and all but I miss dancing with her.
Anyways, Marissa kept rambling on and on about this Shawn guy from Magcon or whatever it is called. While Marissa is in the shower I decided to look him up on YouTube. The first cover I see is his Say Something cover. I begin to listen and realize that he was actually kind of cute and he had an amazing singing voice. Marissa was right; I should have listened to him a long time ago! I have to turn this off before she comes out of the shower because if she heard me listening to him I would not hear the end of how she is always right.
