Chapter 21

Matt POV:

So I guess I am dating Marissa now. This isn't how I wanted it to all go down but seeing the expression on her face I knew it was right. It's kinda good because I'm not a sappy romantic and neither is she. I looked up at Paige and she was humbly smiling at Marissa. She saw me looking at her and Marissa and gave me that look of realization.

"So yeah um I'm gonna go back to the group and stuff. See ya!" Paige says.

"We're coming too!" Marissa replied.

I look at her cheesy yet adorable smile to Paige and reach for her hand. She looks down at our hands and smiles at me. For once in my life something actually feels right. We walk back to the group hand in hand and I see the guys hitting each other to look at us. Usually I would be self conscious whenever I had a girl around but something this time felt different. She was different.

"Dude do you got something to tell us here!" Nash said noticing our hands.

"Yeah so he told me he never wanted to talk to me again so now we are basically dating!" Marissa said mocking my vine.

"Yeah you guys are perfect for each other." JJ said.

Paige POV:

We go back with them to the hotel that they are staying at. It is literally two minutes from our house and like 5 minutes from the shore.

"So tomorrow we going to the shore?" Marissa asked.

"For sure man!" Jack replied.

"Okey meet us here at around 9 in the morning and we will all walk down together." Carter suggests.

"But 9 is so earrrrly!" Marissa wines.

"Oh shut up babe." Matt says playfully tapping her arm.

"Okay we are gonna head back to our houses it's getting late." I say.

"You're such a party pooper Paige." Taylor responds.

"Well bye." I snap back. I wasn't in the mood for him right now. Correction. I wasn't in the mood for him ever to be completely honest.

As we were walking home all I could think about was Nash. I don't know why but he kept popping into my head. Did I like him? No I couldn't. I don't know what is going on in my head right now. My feelings are whacked and I don't know what to do. I guess I could talk to Marissa about it. I'm sure she will know what to do. Or what is going on at least.

"Hey Mariss can I talk to you for a sec."

"Yeah what's up?"

"Okay so don't freak but I think I might have a crush on Nash. Is that bad? I mean me and Taylor just kinda ended I don't know what's going on I'm so confused." I felt like I was tearing up now.

"Shh Paige don't cry really. Nash is a cutie! I don't know what you're feeling because I am not you but I do have an idea. You just need to try it out. Maybe talk to him alone at the beach tomorrow. Ask him to show you how to penny board. I think you and Nash would be very cute together!"

"You think so? Okay. So tomorrow I will ask him to show me how to nickel board?"

"Penny board ya dumb ass!" She started laughing.

a/n so yeah I told you I was gonna update. again today!! it's really late right now haha but tomorrow is the 4th of July. I'm missing my family's big party cuz I am at camp but whatever it's cool. so I need more inspiration and I need to know if you guys are liking the story! comment below what you think is gonna happen tomorrow at the beach!? bye loves
