"Honey, you need to eat something. I made some Fettuccini Alfredo. It's your favorite if I recall," Anthony, Cassie's dad says. As he brought a plate of pasta to her room.

"I'm not hungry dad," Cassie says as she curled back to her side. Cassie has been staying with her dad for the past 3 days, crying over Sebastian. She couldn't stand to be alone and whenever something bad happens, her safe place has always been her dad's.

"Sweetie, you've not eaten any proper food in 3 days and I get that you're heartbroken but I can't have you falling ill too. I'm going to have to put my foot down and force you to eat this now." Anthony says sternly. Cassie turns around in her bed to face her dad in his scrubs.

"That's my girl," he says tapping her leg as he placed the tray of food on her lap. "I don't deserve good food. I'm a horrible person." Cassie says and starts crying again. Anthony wasn't sure what was the right thing to say to his daughter all he knew was to hug her. He was a very wise man but was not the most emotionally intelligent and at times like this, he wished Cassie's mother was still alive to deal with this.

"Honey, you messed up, and yes you should have done what you should have done. But you're here now and he knows you love him. Just give him some time and if he is really meant to be with you, he'll come back." Anthony says.

"No dad, he won't. He's done with me. You should have seen the way he looked at me. I really blew it." She cries again.

"I know the type of guy Sebastian is. I promise you, you just need to give him time." Anthony assures Cassie. "Now I have to go to work, finish this and please try to get out of this bed and shower,". Anthony says as he kissed his daughter on the head and leaves.

With Charles's approval, Cassie has been working from home for the past few days. She also decided to ease her way out of having more responsibilities at the firm, in order to pursue her dream of acting again.

Before going through her emails, she checked her phone again to see if Sebastian had contacted her and there was nothing. She sighed and proceeded to dive into her work. About 2 hours later, like clockwork, she checks her phone again, and still nothing. She was no longer just missing Sebastian. She was curious as to how he was dealing with the breakup and if he was truly heartbroken or if he's moved on. It's been almost a week since he dropped her off and never looked back. She decides to muster up the courage and call his assistant.

"Hi Ms. Rowan, how are you?" his assistant Katie asks.

"Hey Katie, I'm just calling to see if you can connect me to Sebastian," Cassie asks timidly as her heart began to race.

"Oh Ms. Rowan, Mr. Stanley hasn't been in the office the whole week. He took some personal time off and I thought he was with you." She says.

"Oh, no he's not with me. Do you know where he could roughly be?" Cassie asked.

"No, not really I'm sorry. Maybe you could check with his sister." Katie suggested.

"Sure, thanks Katie," Cassie says and ends the call. Her head was buzzing with questions. Where could Sebastian have gone? She couldn't help but wonder if he took one of his past model girlfriends out on a vacation somewhere.

Two weeks later

It's been two weeks since Cassie last heard from Sebastian and her sadness and heartache were now just turning into anger and rage toward him. He never replied to any of her texts or answered her calls. He did not block her so that's good and her messages were being read. But the fact that he could throw away everything they shared in the past three almost four months, because of this mistake, made her question if he ever really loved her as much as she thought he did.
