Updating a little sooner because I leave on a little trip tonight :)

Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think! <33

Marinette entered the house with her hands full. She let out a deep breath and put away her coat before walking to the living room. She put down her bag on the table and looked around with a frown. The house was empty and peaceful. It was weird.

With a 4-year-old toddler and a newborn baby, it was never peaceful. She put down her designs and took off her high heels, letting her feet finally breathe. They were so gorgeous (and so expensive) but walking on them the whole day from meeting to designer was very painful. She walked to the big stairs in the hall and went upstairs to search for a sign of life.

She first walked by Hugo's room and took a look inside. The curtains were closed and he was peacefully asleep in his bed. She smiled softly before covering him better with his blanket. She placed a little kiss on his head before leaving him alone. She walked to the next room and slightly opened the door. Her eyes widened in shock.

Her daughter was sitting at her table with one of her most beautiful dresses on and her husband sat on the other side, well a version of him. He had pins in his hair, a boa around him, and wore the ugliest makeup she had ever seen. To finish the look, he wore pearl necklaces around his neck. She laughed out loud but quickly covered her mouth as they both noticed her. Emma smiled brightly. "Mommy! You're home!" She exclaimed, happily.

She chuckled and nodded, walking towards her husband. "Don't you look pretty!" She said, grinning. He wrapped his arm around her waist and raised his head, proudly. "I did it, mama!" Emma said, proudly. Marinette smiled and placed her hands on the side of her face before kissing her head. "Well, you did fantastic, baby girl." she praised her daughter. "But it's time to sleep, my darling."

Emma pouted. "No, please mama! Just a little more." She begged. Adrien shook his head. "No, princess. Tomorrow we're going on a trip with Auntie Alya, Uncle Nino, and little Noah so we can't have you tired." He said, standing up and standing beside his wife. Marinette smiled and ruffled Emma's head. "Go to your bathroom. I'll be right there." She told her. Emma smiled and looked at her father. "Daddy? Are you going to come to give me a goodnight kiss?" She asked.

Adrien bend down to her level and kissed her head. "Of course, Em." He told her. Satisfied, she ran to the bathroom, leaving her two parents behind. Marinette looked at him before bursting out with laughter. "Oh god, Adrien." She said as she held hold of her stomach.

Adrien smirked and put his hands on both sides of his hips. "What? I thought you said I looked pretty?" Marinette giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You look absolutely gorgeous." She told him before kissing him deeply. She pulled away and wiped her mouth. "Oh wow. Lipgloss and all."

Adrien gave her an apologetic smile and looked down at her as she played with 'his' necklaces. Suddenly she stopped and took a step back, raising an eyebrow. "Or those my pearls?" She asked him. Adrien's eyes widened and nervously smiled. "That is possible."

Marinette took a deep breath and closed their eyes. "Please put them back." She asked. "Right away." He said before he kissed her cheek and went to their room.  Marinette shook her head and laughed before going to help her daughter in the bathroom.

~Flashback~

Adrien was sitting at the kitchen table downstairs, working on his laptop as his little daughter ran around. He had just put down Hugo for a nap and he hoped he could get some work done. He knew his beautiful wife had a busy day at work and her parents were too busy with the bakery to take care of Emma and Hugo. So he decided to work from home but with his little devils, getting some work done was a little hard.

Emma played around with her dolls on the couch until she decided she was bored. She looked around the room and saw her daddy sitting at the table. She put away her dolls, crawled off the couch, and ran toward her father.

"Daddy!" She exclaimed, tugging on his sleeve. Adrien looked down at her and smiled. "What's wrong, baby? You're hungry?" He asked. Emma pouted and shook her head. "No, I wanna play something with you." She asked. Adrien let out a deep breath. He glanced at his laptop before glancing at her again, looking into those begging eyes. The kitty eyes as Marinette liked to call them. The ones Emma got from him.

He gave up and stood up from his desk. "Alright, princess? What do you want to play?" He asked. He saw her grin, grab his hand and drag him upstairs to her room. A couple of minutes later, he was sitting on one of Emma's plastic chairs. She had already put a boa on him and some pearls. (who looked an awful lot like the ones he got for Marinette for her 25th birthday)

His eyes widened as Emma walked to him with her hands full of makeup. "Uhm sweetheart. What are you planning to do?" He asked fear showing on his face as his daughter's makeup brush came close to his face. He backed away and laughed nervously.

Emma smiled enthusiastically. "Making you all pretty, papa!" Adrien scoffed and flipped his hair. "I'm already pretty." He said, making Emma giggle. "Believe me, daddy. When I'm done, mommy will love you even more." She explained, applying the makeup. Adrien let out a deep breath and closed his eyes. "Well, I sure hope so." He said as he just let her do whatever. He loved her too much to even say no.
