After documenting what happened at the police station, everyone get back home. The officers said that they might summon the witnesses again for further discussion. However, Sarah remained for a little longer but she insisted that Hamza and Nour go back home. Hamza took Nour to ride her home. There was only silence flowing around them. She didn't say a single word and only pondered the outside from her car window. She let the breeze cool her down. She needed the cold aura. She relished a lot while adopting these electric shivers until his sound broke the calmness.
"Nour, I know how you feel but please speak to me. I just want to make sure you're okay. Cry, scream, or even hit me, do whatever you want but don't stay silent like that." She listened attentively to him and her eyes glistened ready to set a tear-free. She rejected eye contact with him. She fixed her eyes on the street. He knew that she won't give a reply so he proceeded while looking at both, her and the road, in front of him. "I am sorry. It's my fault that I didn't come on time. It's a huge blunder that I dragged you into all of this. That would not have happened if you didn't meet Sarah... You were involved because of me..."
On mentioning Sarah, she fixed her eyes on him. Sarah? She was her superhero today. Without her, she would be rapped already. How could she be the reason? She didn't accept his accusations and spoke in defense. "It's not Sarah. Why you don't understand that it was him? He planned for everything. He knew that you won't be there. He didn't even realize that Sarah is coming. Can't you see, she has nothing to do with him? "
His voice became rough and loud upon mentioning her name again. " I don't give a shit about anything anymore, I just want you to be safe. I will never leave you alone. I will always be by your side. I will make anything to erase this horrible memory from your mind. " He knew that he lose his temper so easily so he tried to calm himself down and searched for her hands that were resting on her lap. Nour looked at their hands but she didn't pull them away and then looked back at him in silence.
" You will always have me by your side. I don't know what you did to me but if I could die for you to have the life you wished for I won't hesitate to do it for you. Just seeing your smile makes my heart fly." He spoke the moment their eyes met. He craved her beside him. He once again focused on the road. She hold his hand tighter and responded while looking from the car window feeling flattered and her smile was reaching her eyes. " and I love your company. "
On entering the house. Farida ran to her niece conserving her in her arms. She was protecting her with her arms not giving her a chance to let go, totally dismissing the male figure beside her. Nour was thrown into her aunt's arms, crying, feeling afraid and powerless. Her cries never stopped and neither the Dua Farida started telling. Nour's heart was already broken. She didn't want any more broken pieces in there. The heartburn was so strong to be put off. Why she was always the target of bad people? Why did she attract all the pain and problems wherever she went? She couldn't hold her tears so she cried while patting her head, maybe her conscience blaming her for being a reckless aunt and not keeping an eye on Nour. Nour on the other hand cried endlessly feeling the security and the safety her aunt gave her. The sound of the Quran that roamed the room and the sops of her aunts were making her heart beat so fast. On hearing this specific verse of the Quran she tightened the hug and listened carefully. "Say to them, "Nothing (good or bad can befall us except that which Allah has destined for us: Allah is our Guardian and the Believers should put their trust in Him alone." (9:51)"
