Riley POV

That night I got a text from someone.

?: Hey, is this Riley?

Me: Yeah, who is this?

?: It's Eliza, I'm gonna need your help with something.

The night of the cheer championship was upon us and me and Eliza snuck in to initiate our revenge plan. "You got the blueprint?" I asked, Eliza put her hands in her pockets and then said, "Aww shit. I must of left it in my locker.", "Well, good thing you texted me." I unlocked my phone and went to me and Eliza's conversation. After going over it we got to work.

Another team was up as me and Eliza were almost finished with our plan. We just had to make a few small adjustments and then we were good to go. "Okay, we're good." Eliza said, holding up her computer. "Hey, no, no, no, no! Put that away! Stop! Stop! Both of you stop!" Zed said, running in behind us.

Bonzo held up Eliza, "Ow, Get off of me you big lug!" She said, "Eliza, Ry, you can't do this!" Zed said, "Why not? It's finally time for karma to hit them back." I said, "Then let karma do it, don't take it into your own hands, Ry." He responded. "Ruining the Cheer Championship is only gonna prove their worst fears, that zombies are monsters." Zed added, "They think that anyway." Addie said, running in, "At least you have the guts to stand up for yourself. I say do it.". "Okay, I like this girl." Eliza said, her face turning a bright red.

"Sabotage isn't the zombie way." Zed said, "It's not who we are.", "It's not who you are." He said, looking at me then at Eliza. "I'm not a monster. I'm a zombie." Zed said, "And you're a cheerleader," He said looking at Addie, "No one's going to change the world through sabotage."

"Okay, um, so, no sabotage." Eliza asked, "No sabotage." Me, Zed, and Addie said in unison. "It's not who we are." Me and Addie said, hugging each other.

"Seabrook's up next!" Bree yelled to us. We all ran out to see what the hell the team was going to do now since they kicked off almost everyone. "The sweetest type of sabotage." Eliza said, as we all looked at how badly they were failing, "Self-sabotage." I added, giving her a fist bump. "Seconds in and Seabrook is literally falling apart." One of the announcers said.

Then Zoey ran onto the stage and cheered, "Let's go, Seabrook Cheer.", "Get off the stage, zombie!" Someone jeered. "What's she doing?" Bree asked, "She's changing things..." Addie answered, "by cheering.". "But that's not how change works. Okay, you can't just change things with one person and a pair of pom-poms." Eliza said, "Yeah, your right." I said, "It's gonna take more than just one person. It's gonna take all of us.".

"Like they'll ever see us as normal." Eliza said, "They won't. Because we're not normal." Zed said, "And they need to see that. Zombies celebrate their differences." Addie added. "So let's go out there and celebrate. Cheer Championship style." I said.

"Bucky...things can change." Zed said, as we all walked up to him. "Look, change is happening, Bucky." I said, "And we're not going away." Eliza added, "So, you can either fight us and lose,", "Or you can be a part of it." I said. Bucky stayed silent for a moment, before giving Addie his whistle, "I can't." He said, walking away. "I guess we need a new captain." I said, looking at Addie. "All right, here's the plan." Zed said, as we all huddled together, "We're gonna let our freak flags fly."
