Exceptional Zed

Riley POV

Zed walked me home after the whole alien ordeal and asked, "You okay?". "Mhm. I'm...fine." I replied.

"I'll...I'll see you tomorrow." I said, giving him a kiss, what was odd was that I felt a zap of electricity when Zed and I kissed.

"Did...did you feel that?" Zed asked me. "Yeah." I said. "I guess our spark's turnin' literal." Zed said, making me laugh. "Goodnight, bae." I said, walking into my house. "Night, Ry Ry,".

I walked into my bedroom and pulled out a picture book from my shelf. I opened it up and flipped through all the memories my family had put in there. 'Where would you hide those coordinates, grandpa?'

I looked at the Luma Lens again to concentrate on it. It moved a bit to the left again, then it started to hover a bit. Just then Dad came into my room and I hid the lens under my blanket. "Hey honey, just wanted to make sure you got home safe." He said.

"Dad, where was Grandpa Ryo from?" I asked him. He hesitated for a split second before saying, "Seabrook honey, born and raised. Why?"

"It's nothing." I replied. "Goodnight, Ry." Dad said, before exiting my room.

"Attention everyone! If Zed can prove that monsters are exceptional, doors will open for all of us." Eliza said into a microphone, "All right, everybody. Listen up. We only get one shot. Zed's interviewer, Mrs.Crabtree, is gonna be here in an hour."

Bonzo said something in zombie and pointed somewhere. "Who's early?" Eliza replied. "Uh-Oh." She said, realizing who Bonzo was talking about.

"Seabrook, we have a problem!"

Bree, Bonzo, and I rushed to the beach where Zed, Wyatt, Willa, and Wynter were. "She's early!" I yelled. "Who?" Wyatt asked. "Zed's...interviewer." I said, out of breath from running.

3rd Person

Zed

I'm kinda freaking out
And not in the best way
More like a heart beating out my chest
'Cause I'm stressed way

Wynter

You're the best football player
That I've ever seen

Bree

You'll be fine your a charismatic green machine

What if you're wrong
And I bomb this interview?

Zed

I hate to say
But I'm nervous
How do I prove I deserve this?
