Riley POV

"You ready for camp?" Mom asked. "Not really, but Besties support besties!" I said, Addie wanted me to come along with her for some support during cheer camp, so of course I'm coming.

I walked out of my house and started walking towards where the bus was gonna pick us up. On my way, I ran into someone. "Ow, oh, uh, sorry, sir." I said, holding out my hand to help him up. "Oh, don't call me that. I'm basically just as old as you are." He said, grabbing my hand and lifting himself up. I noticed I'd never seen him before, I guess he was new on a job or something cause he was wearing some type of work clothes and a hard hat. "Well, I best be going. Have a nice day!" I said, waving and continuing to walk.

I eventually got to the bus stop and saw Addie and Bree. "Hey, girls!" I said, giving them both a hug. "Hi, Riles." Addie responded, "I'm so EXCITED for cheer camp! Oh, I can't wait!" Bree said, enthusiastically. Bonzo came up behind her and said something in zombie. "I just glad I can be with you." I translated, I had been practicing zombie lately to surprise Zed.

Wait. ZED! Oh god, I forgot to say goodbye! "Addie do you know when the bus is coming?" I asked, "In about 20 minutes." She responded. "Okay, I will be right back!" I said, running off to Zombietown.

I got there and check my phone, 'Okay, 17 minutes left.' I got to Zed's place and knocked on the door, a few seconds later his dad opened the door. "Riley! Nice to see ya. Did ya need something from Zed?" He asked, "Yeah, I need to say goodbye, I'm leaving for cheer camp with Addie." I responded. "Well, come in. Knowing Zed he's still asleep. I gotta head to work right now, so just remember to lock the door when you leave." He said. I nodded and walked upstairs and knocked on Zed's door.

"Zeddie, baby?" I said.

"Be right there, Ry." I heard him responded, groggy.

A minute later, he opened the door and lifted me up to hug me. "Did ya need something, Cutie." He said, making me chuckle. "Today's the day I'm leaving for cheer camp with Addie." I said, "I just wanted so say goodbye."

"Oh, right." Zed said, "I'm gonna miss you, love." He said, hugging me tighter. "Don't worry, I'll FaceTime you as soon as I get there!" I said.

"Promise?" He asked.

"Promise." I said, giving him a kiss.

I ran back up to the bus stop just in time. The bus just arrived and I quickly got on, and grabbed my phone.

I fell asleep pretty early on in the ride and woke to Addie calling my name. "Riles, we're here." "I'm up, I'm up." I said back, standing up and grabbing my bags. We got to the front of the place we were staying at when Bucky said, "Okay, people. We start six o'clock tomorrow!", everyone groaned, "Deal with it." He added.

I got to my room and looked around, 'Way too much pink.' I thought. I set my bags down and pulled my phone out to call Zed.

"Hi, babe." I said.

"Hey Ry. I miss you already." He responded.

"I know, me too."

"So, how's the place so far?"

"Awesome, my rooms pretty big, but almost everything is pink. Yuck."

"I can't be that bad. Pink is a nice color."
