Riley POV

As we cleaned ourselves, and the door, up I decided to continue the conversation we were having earlier. "Zeddie, why were you acting like that earlier?" I asked, as we walked out of the bathroom. "It's just...it was really difficult for zombies when we first joined the school, a-and now everything is just being handed to the werewolves on a silver platter." The pale male responded.

"Actually, they hate silver." I corrected.

"Look, I was just trying to win an election for my people, for you. So we can go to prawn together, so we can be accepted."

"I understand, however it doesn't mean you can blame them. All they wanted was to join us."

"I know, I know, I was just jealous, since...I mean...j-just look at Wyatt! How am I supposed to compete with someone who's been living in the woods their whole life and looks like that!"

"You have a point there, but just because I think someone is attractive doesn't mean I'm gonna leave you for them, babe." I said, plating a kiss on his cheek.

"I'm sorry."

"For?"

"For not trusting you." He said, planting a kiss on my forehead.

"I forgive you, hun. Just remember you don't have to pretend to be someone you're not." I said, pointing at a poster that had Zed looking like a human.

I got home and check my phone, realizing Addie texted me.

Ry, can you come over? I really need someone to talk to.

Yeah, sure. I'll be right over.

"Mom! Dad! I'm gonna go over to Addie's house!" I yelled, walking out the door. I arrived to Addie's house and locked on the door. "Oh, hello Riley." Mrs.Wells said, opening up the door. "I assume you're here to see Addison?" She asked. "Yup." I answered

I walked up to Addie's room and knocked. "I'm here." She opens up the door and quickly pulled me inside.

"So, what happened? Why'd you need me to come over?"

"Eliza and I...got into a fight."

"Oh no, Addie." I said, wrapping her in a warm embrace. "Why? What happened?"

"She saw me give Willa a hug, and I guess she was jealous."

I'm not the best at comforting, so I had no idea what to say. So I settled to just keep hugging her and let her tears soak up my favorite hoodie.

"Ugh, I really don't understand thiiiiss!" Addie complained, talking about her homework. "Hey, don't look at me! I'm barely passing Chemistry." I said back. "I'll text Bree, she knows way more about Chemistry than you and I do." Addie said, picking up her phone.

All of the sudden we both heard a scraping sound coming from outside. "What the?" I said, confused as to what it was. Addie and I looked at each other before walking downstairs and slowly approaching the door. I finally had the guts to open it up and saw...nothing, until I looked at the door and realized there were claw marks on it. "Werewolves." We both said.

"Come out. We know your here." I said.

The wolves all appeared out of their hiding spots. "Come with us." Wyatt spoke. "What's so important?" Addie asked. "You are." He responded.

"If your going, I'm going." I said to Addie. "All right, we'll go." Addie said.

~~~
"Where are we going?" Addie asked, as we walked through the forest. "It's a wolf secret." Wynter replied, "If we told you, we'd have to kill you." Wyatt and Willa gave her a cold stare. "Too much. Too much. I knew it. Sorry." Wynter said. "Welcome! But not too welcome!" She added, before she started to cough.
