Vanna POV"Great acting, you two." Vincent praised. "I almost believed your fibs."
Vance had a look on his face that I couldn't read, so I paid it no mind. "Now," Vincent started, "Tomorrow I want everyone to spread out across the town. Get to know the place, find a weakness anywhere you can." We all nodded and went back into the directions of our houses.
"So...what do you think of Seabrook?" Vincent asked me as we made our way home. "It's so...cheery and positive. It makes me sick." I replied. "Same here, sis." He said, "Same here."

I walked into my room and called out for Skweeks. "Skweeks, I'm home." I said, before Skweeks quickly flew over and landed on my shoulder. "Hi buddy!" I said, booping his nose. I floated up to my bed and crossed my arms. "Night, Skweeks." I said, shutting my eyes and falling into a deep sleep.

Wyatt POV
"I can't believe this!" Willa exclaimed, pacing back and forth in the den, "We leave for a few days and suddenly vampires are here!"
"Willa, I agree, however you should lower your voice." I said, Wynter agreeing. "Ugh, I'm sorry...I let my emotions get the better of me." She apologized. "Well, we all know that the vampires are not up to anything good." Wynter said. "Mhm," I nodded, "We just have to find out what they're planning."
"Hello?" A voice echoed from outside the den. The person walked in and we saw it was Riley, followed by Zed and A-Spen. "Willa." A-Spen said, walking up to her and holding her hands. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, A-Spen." Willa assured. "Are you really? Since you seemed really angry when you walked off." They worried. "Really, A-Spen, I'm fine." Willa repeated, smiling. The two walked off and Riley asked, "Can you explain why werewolves and vampires hate one another?"
"Okay." I groaned, sitting down, Riley and Zed copying me. "I don't know if you noticed, but the vampires also have moonstone necklaces." I said, fidgeting with mine, "600 years ago, long before Seabrook settlers came in, werewolves had the moonstone stolen." Wynter explained. "They searched for 70 years, aching at the loss of the precious life-bringer, until they came across more beings with moonstone necklaces." I said.
"Vampires." Zed said and I nodded. "Yeah, the wolves were furious at the vampire kind and that fury started a 100 year war between the two species, each taking the moonstone back and forth at different times."
"Finally, the vampires called of the war...however they swore they'd be back one day to take what, they believe, is rightfully theirs." Wynter said, finishing off the story. "Well...they seemed nice enough when we showed them around town." Riley stated, making Wynter and I widen our eyes.
"You showed them around town? Oh no, no, no, no, no!" Wynter exclaimed. "The vampires are plotting something, we wolves are sure of that. It's better to not interact with them at all." I said. "Oh, come on, Wy, they can't be that bad. You heard them, they just want to be accepted. Seabrook's done it thrice before." Zed stated.
I sighed and told them I was gonna head to bed. "Okay, we'll see you tomorrow, Wy Wy." Riley said, leaning up to give me a kiss. "Night, Wy Wy." Zed said, leaning down to kiss me. "Goodnight, loves." I replied, before walking to my room.

Riley POV
Zed walked me back home. "Goodnight, Zeddie." I said, as we reached my house. "Goodnight, Ry Ry." Zed responded, before giving me a kiss. I waved to him, closed the door, and walked up to my room. I wished my parents good night and closed the door, plopping down onto my bed and shutting my eyes.
