Riley POV
After the three of us cleaned up, we exited my room and helped with the last few connections for the moonstone. "Where were y'all?" Addie asked me. "Oh uhh, we were, umm...I...I was showing them around!" I lied, grateful that Addie is horrible at telling when somebody lies. "Oh, okay!" She replied, obliviously.
"We're gonna need an organic conduit between the moonstone and the Mothership." Eliza said. A-Lan then made a square tile on the floor of up and hooked one of the wires onto it. "Only our people can connect to the ship's stardust reactor." He said. "Unfortunately the moonstone's power is lethal to us."
"You both being 3/4 human might just work. You both would be a living bridge." A-Lan continued. "You guys can do it." Willa encouraged. "Yes, they are aliens." A-Spen said. "And part of our pack." Wyatt added.
Zed and Eliza looked at Addie and I and nodded. "You were born for this." They said. Addie and I grabbed a hold of the two wires. "Ready?" Eliza asked. We nodded and held hands. Instantly, electricity coursed through us, however it didn't hurt too bad.
The ship rumbled as the voltage continued to surge through us. "Okay, my laptop says the ship is fueled enough!" Eliza yelled. Addie and I let go and the ship dimmed for a few seconds before lighting up again.
"Mama's Back!" Mothership exclaimed.
"We must launch now." A-Spen said.
"Alright, preparing to take off." Mothership replied, as everyone started to run to the teleporting pads. "Launch sequence, go!"
Wyatt and Zed grabbed my hands as we ran to get them off the ship in time. We got onto the teleporting pads and looked at each other once more. "I love you both." I said, feeling my eyes welling up with tears.
"We love you, too." They said in unison. "To the ends of the universe."
"We have to be patient. We will meet again." I said, as tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Someday." They responded, kissing my cheeks. Mothership started counting down as we said our final goodbyes.
Then they were teleported off the ship.

The next day I woke up feeling like shit. 'Why did you have to hide your coordinates in my DNA, Grandpa!'
I picked up my phone and went to text Zed and Wyatt.
