Speechless

For three years, naging tahimik at maganda ang pagiging mag-asawa namin ni Hale. Naging maayos na rin ang relasyon ko sa mga bata. We've been a happy family. At wala nang mga hindi pagkakaintindihan sa mga nakalipas na taon sa buhay mag-asawa namin at pamilya.

Our married life had been a bliss. At akala ko pa ay wala nang makakasira sa kaligayahan ko... Truth was I was afraid. I became afraid that my wonderful life with Hale and the twins will someday be taken away from me... I didn't know why I had such feelings and thoughts. But just thinking about it makes me scared.

Siguro dahil matagal din na pakiramdam ko ay wala akong pamilya. And when Hale gave me one it still felt surreal that it gave me anxiety, too...

Was it really my instinct? Maybe I knew even having no prior knowledge about it that this day would come...

"Nice!" Puri pa ng nakangiting photographer sa amin habang kinukunan kami nito ng ilang shots para sa graduation pictorial namin.

Hale and the kids are even here with me today. Sobrang saya ko lang. Makakapagtapos na ako sa pag-aaral. And I have a wonderful and supportive family. The four of us smiled to the camera.

I was well made-up for our graduation day. Inaayusan pa lang ako sa bahay nang umagang iyon ay pinasok na ako ni Hale at ng mga bata to congratulate me. May regalo pa sa akin sina Angel at Gelo that made me really happy. "Thank you, Angel, Gelo!" Niyakap ko silang dalawa.

Halos hindi na nga sila magkasya sa mga braso ko dahil ang lalaki na nila lalo. Parang kailan lang noong 10 years old pa lang sila nang una kong makilala. And now they're 13 turning 14 few months from now. They're already teenagers!

"Congratulations, Mommy!" Angel hugged me lovingly.

"Congratulations, Mom."

Ngumiti rin ako kay Gelo. "Thank you, mga anak." ngiti ko.

And both Angel and Gelo smiled.

"Congratulations, hon." Hale kissed the side of my head and handed me a bouquet of flowers.

I smiled to my husband, too. "Thank you, Hale."

Pagkatapos kong maghanda ay pumunta na rin kaming apat para um-attend na ng graduation ko.

Tapos na ang graduation ceremony at doon ko rin nakilala ang ate ni Aria... She's a beautiful woman. Tall and slender like a fashion model. She's taller than me even I was wearing a heeled shoes, too. Her hair was long and she's wearing a formal dress for her sister's graduation.

She was smiling at Hale after greeting him like friends who didn't meet for a long time...

"Hale..." tawag ko sa kaniya.

Mula kay Andreah ay binaling niya ang tingin sa akin.

"You know each other?" I asked him.

Hale nodded. And then I saw him gulped a bit.

My forehead creased at his little reactions that I can notice.

Bumaling naman ako ngayon kay Andreah. "Saan kayo nagkakilala ng asawa ko?"

"Oh." She looked at Hale, and then she smiled at me. "We..."

"She used to work at our company." Hale answered for her...

"Ah, yes." She smiled making her red lipstick more defined...

Ganoon pala... Nagkatinginan kami ni Aria. Aria seemed different from her older sister. She's more simple and always wearing her eyeglasses. But she's cute. While her sister, Andreah has a kind of a sultry beauty...
