"Ugh, get it," Lily yells from across the room, pointing to the door. Someone is knocking.
I get up and grab a jacket. It's chilly here.
"Come on Kordelia, get it," Lily yells across the room again. I understand why she's so annoyed. It's 6:30 and she was out late with Eeli last night when we got into Scotland. I went straight to bed though, knowing I wanted to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for today.
I hoped the boys had something good planned. The last time we trusted them, they ended up getting bad directions and getting us dumped at a dump. But then again, the time before that they had taken us hot air ballooning and we had soared over Paris. You never knew what you would get with those boys. But I didn't care. It's the thought that counts. And their thought really does count. I love seeing them work really hard. Even if their Oman ends up failing. Sometimes their fail is cuter than if it didn't fail.
I walked over to the door and looked out the peephole. Avory was standing there wringing his hands, provably nervous that I didn't want to see him this early in the morning. Lily had told them about me slapping her the last time she woke me up. Maybe he thought I would do that to him.
I wouldn't though. I'm so excited for today, I'm glad it's morning for the first time in my life. I want to see the green fields of this beautiful country. I have always wanted to come to Scotland. It feels so unreal that I'm finally here. I have never even begun to think this dream would come true. I'm sure it's the same for Lily. We are visiting a bunch of pales she has always wanted to visit too. I'm sure she is extremely excited.
"Yes, my darling," I say, opening the door. When he sees me, he smiles.
"I wanna show you something," he says, grabbing my arm and pulling me down the corridor, barely giving me enough time to close the door behind us.
