After we picked up our food we decided to walk a bit and eat in front of the Siene. The boys were very insistent that we eat as far away from the Eiffel tower as possible. Kordelia and I had just looked at each other and grinned. We were almost positive the boys were taking us there tonight. Finally, after what felt like hours of walking, we found the perfect place for lunch. We sat down at a public table and took out the food. The baguettes smelled heavenly. They reminded me of baking bread with my grandma and cousins. Oh how I used to enjoy that. Eeli handed one of the baguettes to Avory to split and grabbed the other one ripping off an enormous piece and stuffing it in to his mouth like a caveman. I laughed.
When he had finished chewing the bread and swallowed he asked, "oh did you want some too."
"No, I'm perfectly content watching you eat it all. So long as I get to see you." Kordelia and Avory were distracted in their own conversation so he leaned over the table and kissed me, his lips warm on mine. Then he sat back down and ripped the baguette in half, handing me the uneaten side as if nothing had happened. I felt Kordelia elbow me from her spot next to me. Apparently we hadn't been as inconspicuous as we thought.
I began to eat the bread, slowly so I could savor it. It tasted as good as it smelt.
When I was finished, Eeli stood up. "Well, I'm gonna go for a walk. Would you like to join me Lily?" he asked as if he would be walking alone if I said no.
"Of course sir." I replied, jumping up. He held his arm out and I grabbed on wrapping my fingers around his bicep. He didn't look it, but Eeli was strong. I liked that.
"Buy guys," I said waving back, but Eeli had already started pulling me along.
