No. The Other Crush.

I hurry out of the room, anxious to finally eat after a ridiculously long day. But first, I stop at my quarters to shed off my grey uniform and put on something more comfortable. I slip on plaid maroon sweat pants and a black long sleeve shirt. This ship is always so chilly. I put on my comfortable pair of sneakers and pace quickly towards the messhall. Am I in pajamas? Technically no.

The small line for breakfast has started for the next shift. I opt for an almost everything omelette with toast and roasted tomatoes. I pour myself a glass of water.

I twirl around and look for the same spot I sat in earlier. My seat is empty, but the seat across from it was taken. General Hux, still in his uniform, is sitting there leaning his elbow on the table. His cheek is pressed tiredly onto his palm. His tray of breakfast is half eaten. His now greyish -not blue- eyes look around in boredom as he notices me akwardly standing there watching him. I avert my gaze and turn to find another empty table. I quickly sit down and be sure to face away from where he is sitting. My mind processes yet another color of his eyes. Blue, green, grey. Exactly which one is it?

I begin to eat. Some time goes by and two officers notice me. I see from the corner of my eyes when turn from their table next to mine. Their hushed voices were so quiet that I couldn't hear what they were saying. Then one finally spoke up.

"Hey. You." One of them called over to me in a condescending tone.

I look up from building myself a sandwich. "Hm?" I mumble out while still chewing. I notice both of their sleeve bands are Lieutenants. They are essentially the same rank as I, but pursue the path of Navy rather than Army.

"You're that officer that got demoted." The same officer says a bit louder for others to hear.

I freeze my jaw and quickly swallow whatever was and wasn't chewed. Word travels fast these days. I was really hoping for some time of normalcy before dealing with this again. I put down my makeshift sandwich and wipe off my hands with a napkin. "Look, I'm tired and I haven't eaten all day. Please don't ruin my evening."

"Yea? What about all of those soldiers you killed? I bet their evening was ruined too." The second officer jumps out of his seat into an aggressive stance. His shoulders puff up in an attempt to size me up.

The first Lieutenant that originally spoke also gets up from his seat. He attempts to calm his angry friend my putting a hand in front of him.

I patiently sip my water. "On the contrary," I begin. "The battle was in the morning."

The aggressive man pushes aside his friend and takes a step closer to me, basically standing over my body to intimidate me. He smacks my tray onto the floor, spilling my meal everywhere.

Nope. I'm not dealing with that. Time to crush some more enemies.

I fling my cup of water at his face and duck down from his flailing arms. I quickly grab the tray with both of my hands. I smack it so hard across his face, the metal tray bongs in an echo. He falls back on his table, flipping it over, making a huge mess.

"What the fuck!?" The calmer guy yells out. He instinctively swings a punch and it hits me square in the cheekbone and eye. My life flashes before my eyes and I see white for a split second before blindly tackling him as we fall to the ground. We tumble and fight until random hands pull us apart. The people around us join in on separating our grip on one another and pin us back. My right arm slips out of someone's grasp as I get one last crushing blow to his mouth. Blood starts pouring from his busted lip.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" A too familiar voice booms out. I whip my head around to see General Hux storming over to us. The people around us quickly let us go and back away. The male officer and I quickly share a look of mutual fear and immediately stand in attention. The other officer stumbles up to do the same. The entire half of his face is already swollen. Serves him right for ruining my meal.
