Foskett and I sat across from each other in the back of the command shuttle with our mouths shut. The stormtroopers hanging around us didn't speak either. We were all too busy eavesdropping on the less than friendly conversation between Hux and Phasma about the whole prisoner thing. It wasn't as if they were trying to let the whole ship know about the disagreement, but it certainly wasn't quiet.

"You deliberately went against my orders! What the actual fuck?" Hux raises his voice, waving his hands around.

"I still have unfinished business with that traitor. You know how important this is to me." Phasma says.

"I don't care. I said no prisoners. If that was the wrong move, then that's on me and I will deal with the repercussions." Hux says, lowering his voice once again.

"I will take full responsibility for my actions."

"It doesn't work like that!" Although he struggles to stay quiet, his voice still reaches the ears of all who are on the command shuttle. "It's not about taking responsibility, it's about following my fucking orders. You don't get to alter them without my approval. If I tell you to go and eject yourself into space, what do you do?"

"I follow orders?"

"Exactly. You eject yourself into space."

"Uh... right." Phasma hesitates.

Hux sighs, putting his hands on his sides. I see his lips move and hear sounds of his nasally low whispers, but I can't make out what he's saying. The ship's hyper drive is too loud. I only hear useless things like. "Back when" and "any other". It's really not helpful in terms of putting a thought together.

Foskett and I look at eachother. I lean forward and whisper. "I know some details already, but what exactly does this prisoner have to do with that defected stormtrooper? Are the two of them friends or something?"

She shrugs. "I have no clue. Phasma doesn't like talking about that incident.”

I hum in thought. I could just check the reports or ask Hux another time. It was still worth a shot to ask Foskett though. We remain silent, still unable to hear the quiet bickering of the two officers. Neither is being too mean, but still not backing down. Sometimes their words are too vague about something for me to know what they're referring to.

"Don't ever do that again! I'm going to let this one go for old time's sake, but next time there will be serious, serious consequences." Hux booms out. Despite his anger, he isn't ‘Kylo Ren is in my field of vision’ angry. More like, ‘disappointed’ angry.

"Yes, General." Phasma states in a defeated tone. She twirls her heel and storms over to the back of the ship and sits down next to Foskett. There's tension in the air. I see Foskett look up at her with a worried expression. Phasma pays no mind as all she can do is stare out into nothing but the wall. At least that's what I think she is doing.

I look over at Hux all alone. The entire ship is silent besides the humming of the command shuttle. It's interesting how much influence Hux has on people since there's always some kind of banter, even before and after battles. I casually get up and wander over to the General, who is still fuming with red cheeks and pink pouting lips. His hands remain firmly behind his back in his usual commanding stance. I mean, it's kind of hot- the way he can silent an entire room out of fear. He’s abrasive and unapproachable and some may say he’s terrifying. Even this very moment. Not a single person on this ship dares to utter a single sentence.
