A/N
Has anyone caught onto the morning latte joke yet?

----------------------------

My walk back to my room was quite hilarious. So many heads turned to take a double take as I stroll through the flagship in pajamas, fluffy slippers, and a robe, with the General by my side- and of course with our lattes.

When we got back to my room, Armitage opted to add additional information and continue to organize the hastily written plans we made.

I took a quick shower and changed in the bathroom. I was in all but my jacket when I walked out to see Armitage sitting thoughtfully at my desk staring at something. His eyebrows were lowered and his frown was almost in a pout. He was staring at my already packed duffle bag.

"(F/N)." He finally says in such a soft and low tone. I stop doing my hair and swing my head around to look at him- rather than spying on him through my vanity mirror.

He used my first name.

"Armitage." I say back in an almost whisper. His name nearly makes me drool by just saying it.

He inhales a breath to speak, but says nothing. His mouth closes back up as he sits in a pondering silence, staring at my packed duffle bag.

"We need to focus on our plans of attack. We'll talk about us afterwards." I finish my hair and put on my jacket.

Armitage stands up from the chair and slowly wanders over me and reaches out. He fixes my collar and then places his hand on my cheek. "You're right. Let's get going."

---------Small Time Skip---------

I sit at the table in a near empty meeting room with two other people somewhat spread out in random chairs. Captain Phasma sits about two chairs down to my right side. She's leaning back, relaxed, and twiddling her thumbs. She isn't necessarily looking at the General or the holoprojection but I can tell she is clearly processing the information Hux is giving. Kylo Ren sits somewhat across from me, tentatively watching the holoprojection of my once disorganized notes, now fixed by Hux, and glancing over at the maps.

General Hux speaks about our findings in full detail. He drags onto things I already know, so I find myself daydreaming about him instead of actually paying attention.

How I revel in his light touches and calculating stone green eyes piercing through my soul. He's just so stubbornly sure about everything he does. And yet, I can tell he hesitates with me. What exactly is going on in his mind? He tiptoes on the line of work boundaries, occasionally reaching out his arm past the line. And yet he's careful enough to never technically step past that damn line. He easily retracts his hand away, feigning loopholes and technicalities of never stepping a foot past that damn line. A part of me wishes he did step across. A part of me would welcome him with open arms.

And legs.

My cheeks begin to heat up once more as I picture him in my bed doing all the things that I need him to do to me.

Wait a minute. Commander Ren is going to know.

Do not think about Armitage Hux. Commander Ren can read minds. I don't care how. I don't care why. I just care that he doesn't read my mind, because I want Hux so badly right now.

"Once our forces breach this area, Captain Phasma will update Captain (L/N) on the situation. Reinforcements will be standing by." Our General speaks to the room.

Do not think about Armitage Hux and his lovely ginger orange hair effortlessly swooped back with a single strand out of place.

Kylo Ren still leans back on his seat, undivided attention to the information and Hux, and paying no mind to me.
